Nic seems a decent bloke off the field, but as a South African, I will probably never forget his theatrics against South Africa. I think he will always bear the scar, similar to Andy Haden's dive in 1978 against Wales. I would have felt better if World Rugby acted decisively on his oscar performance. Soccer (football) sickens me due to the constant and blatant cheating and diving - I don't want to see rugby go down the same road. But good on him to show humbleness and a change in attitude afterwards, but I won't feel sorry for him for the brunt he took. It was a decision he made in the moment, and he can't blame others for the backlash. He caused the situation, and if he apologised to the rugby family at large, it should be put to bed now. Let's rather get back to the game we love so much and play it the way it was intended.

    Top lad in real life.
During my work experience at Exeter Chiefs as a film student in 2018, I remember lying on the floor because our director wanted a particular shot.
Behind me were Dave Dennis and Nic White, who both noticed my supine position and persuaded me to give them ten pull-ups; later cheering when I finished them.

I believe Nic thinks he is a world class kicker which is just not the case. The rest of his game is good, it's just that default that weakens his claim. I’ll say the same here..
This white bloke in conversation seems proper…
But poison remains poison and the alkaloids sweated by this bloke is not killing opposition
It is the type that kills his team mates..
No matter how you look at it..
Every game this bloke plays at the beginning of a series..
His antics on field leads to his team mates lose a series..
It happened against the Poms, then the boks and then the AB’s
First game win for Aus and a lot of negative feelings after
Then continuous losses when his antics are ignored and even focused on by refs and nailed six ways till sunday..
It absolutely reeks of Springbok attitude in the early 2000’s
You simply can’t win series that way..
I’m a bok supporter and really hated the Markgraaf and Strauli era..
This blokes attitude is the same as what the boks got taught to be those days..
    Its poison.
Even during this interview I’m looking for the wolfsbane hidden in the smile and words spoken..
Against England you could see the poison leech from this person
    I’m sorry..
I cannot find respect for the game in the smile behind that moustache..
And I’m sorry for Aus rugby fans that their superiors coninue to play this kind of poison

Nic knows how to win and at the end of the day that is all that matters. Nothing else. No one gives a shit about losers and the fact is if you use gamenship to win and it works you should do it. It's his job and people do the same in any other job to get ahead of the opposition.

Mmmm … if I wanted to see ‘gamesmanship’ I will watch Premier division.
Australia really struggled to win whilst sticking to the rules - this applies to both rugby and cricket.
But it is not the ozzies fault, their ancestors were all harlots and felons.

I hear what you are saying, but I don't entirely agree. I find your reasoning a bit binary for my liking, but respect your views. However, even winning is forgotten after a while. I will never forget Nic White's legacy for his theatrics on the day, but I seriously can't remember who won the game. PS. I think it was Australia, but I'm not a 100% sure.

Yeah, it's sad that Rugby has become like Football where players resort to crying on the field to get extra points or yellow cards - why even watch the game it's so painful? Rugby players should win Rugby, not actors. I don't even watch Aussie games of late, it's like soapies.
