Sonic Astrom is a potential Full Game Mod Edit for Sonic 3 A.I.R, made by VinDevMod123.

The mod here attempts to create a new story on Angel Island, with a new appearance of Metal Sonic getting into action. Lots of things you'll see in this mod so far involve changes to level design, new custom boss battles, and especially the soundtrack (for now the Sonic 4 Soundtrack is used temporarily).
The project still happens to get updates every now and then, but so far as of this video, this is the latest version (dated back to March 24th).
