One drum outside in the garden with piping into the garage to the second drum that will exit through the roof or wall. Hoping to put 1 1\2 " pipes through the inside barrel to expel heat into the room. Should have less than 5 to 8 percent emissions while heating up the garage, if I weld as good as you. 👍 👍 🇨🇦

Actually, this is a dedicated heating drum for an aluminum cauldron. ManSoo Ssi used dried grass and then will graduate to larger sticks to get just enough heat to dry out the washed pot. When he is boiling his soup/meat, he will use thicker cuts of wood. He will not "load" the barrel with wood since intense heat will damage the aluminum and may over cook his food.
ManSoo Ssi, My dad and I built a similar drum for a wok years ago. Eventually, we built a flat iron plate so we could fry many omelets (egg foo young). My contribution to the project was a chimney pipe, more like your past designs, so the smoke exited well over three feet above our heads. Thank you for your creation. It brought back fond memories of making things with my dad that we actually used. Kwon
I'm Cantonese and our omelets are held together by a pure egg mixture, where Korean omelets (jeon) are held together by a rice flour mixture. The contents of the omelet are bell pepper, white onion, bean sprouts, ham, Chinese sausage (lap cheung). Our sausage is more fatty than soondae so we don't use a dipping sauce. I love both omelets, it just depends on what I want I want to eat. Buchu, kimchi, seafood jeon, are wonderful when I want to eat something salty. Egg Foo Young is wonderful when I'm really hungry because it goes well with rice. I hope you get a chance to try these omelets. They're easy to make and really delicious!
