Sending lots of prayers for a speedy recovery! 💙
Stay strong Jay! Glad you're in the community. We're pulling for you, dude!
Have a speedy recovery Jay. A positive attitude goes a long way for healing. Love this species, I have a juvenile, not sure of the sex yet but fingers crossed it's female. I always try to buy captive bred, it's the only way to stop species going the same way as the Brachypelma's. Personally I believe that only a few breeders should be allowed to import from the wild to start a captive breeding project. We love these 8 legged puppies so should want to see them thriving in their natural habitat as well.
Jay best wishes Jay , stay strong .We are all behind your recovery .
Hello Jay! Its 4 am on the coast of Maine here in the usa and we're watching Uncle Dave together. His channel has really become a community. I hope you are resting easy today and know that you are in good hands for the days to come. Stay tuned in, my friend. All here are keeping you in their thoughts for a full recovery with no more pain or complications.
❤️❤️❤️
Kia Kaha Jay ( stay strong ) from New Zealand.
Yay Jay!
I know how uplifting Dave’s videos can be.
Dave’s videos and responses to my comments got me through 2 long spells in a Skilled Nursing Facility and other institutions.
Good luck to you.
Sending much healing love and light from here.
And yes, Dave, our own problems can be pretty small compared to those of others. My own challenges have become gifts and blessings in many ways.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Best wishes, Jay, on your recovery. ❤ You sound like such a strong person and your positive energy will bring you far in your journey. Hope you feel our support from all across the globe.

Love these pairing videos!!! So interesting!!! These spiders are beautiful with all the various browns!! Beautiful shots as always camera lady!!
Thank you so much 😀
A long and leggy embrace. ❤
All the very best Jay
Best wishes Jay stay strong 💪
They really have quite different personalities from spider to spider, even of the same species. Thanks for sharing guys 👍
Thanks for watching!❤️❤️❤️
Thanks Dave for another fantastic video. To Jay, wishing you a speedy recovery.
We were coming home from Elephant Butte in New Mexico one day and saw a big tarantula walking in front of the truck. My husband asked, should we stop and I had a panic attack screaming at him to move, I don’t want that thing crawling on my truck. Just don’t run over it but go go go!!! I was so scared and horrified when I saw it I will never forget that day.
But that’s why I’m watching your channel now because I believe watching these spiders will help with my arachnophobia.
And over the years it has gotten much better, in fact, I told you about the the big orb weavers that I’m able to tolerate in my yard. I also save every spider that I find in my house and I put it outside.
❤❤❤❤
Get well soon and thanks again for the calendar!!
Great pairing Dave! Fingers crossed for an eggsack❤❤❤❤😊
Jay, sending you all the love and light! ✨
Best wishes to Jay. Prayers and healthy newer year for you!

Morning Dave & Camera lady wot an educational video even though they looked like statues. I hope u both have a wonderful day wishing u a speedy recovery Jay
Fingers crossed for a successful pairing great vid Dave n Camera Lady ..
Your shout out to Jay reminded me of when I was in hospital back in 2021. I'd been hit hard by Covid (I was put in a medical coma for almost four months because of it) and when I woke up I obviously had a lot of time I needed to kill in-between rehab and medicine and inspections and stuff. So I spent it either watching this channel, a channel about solving sudoku or a vtuber (depending on who had new content and stuff). Helped me keep myself sane and also made me take the decision to get a pair of scorpions and a spider myself, once I got out and was properly recovered to be able to care for them.
❤❤❤❤
Greetings Dave & Camara Lady! What a great and educational video!
Also, get well soon Jay!
Thanks for sharing! A treat as always
Best wishes Jay, hope you make a speedy recovery. Looking forward to your show with Scott, I'll be tuning in. Great video. Thankyou Dave and camera lady ❤xxx 😍

I want one or two of those Tarantulas really bad. Have wanted them for years. Hello Jay, hope you get out of the hospital soon and make a great recovery! Best wishes to you.
Light and love to you Jay! Your a beautiful human Dave!!!!!
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ah brilliant Dave, love the Chalcodes, their a beautiful species of spider 🕷 Dave and hopefully you'll get a viable egg sac eventually, anyway Dave that's another super job by yourself and camera 📷 lady Dave.
Hi Jay, although we don't know one another, there are many like you myself, included who have much to bring us down but somehow, we manage to stay safe with high spirits. I have a cancer in me brain box, it would seem I was doing OK on chemotherapy, but a scan showed a small brain stroke which I knew nothing about, so they have put me on rest for a couple of months, well actually about 4 months. When I see the specialist again, I will find out what’s next. I expect they will try to get me onto radio therapy, but I don't really want that I will prefer to stick with the Chimo as I was tolerating it so well. I am fortunate that I have been able to keep my spirits high and I love watching Daves little buggers and I also watch The Dark Den. I live in the UK so am not afraid of spiders because there is little to no dangerous species where I come from and was shocked when I first came across Dave's little Beasties and his lovely Camera Lady but over time I have become an avid follower of these two channels. All the best and may you be able to cope as time goes by and always, if possible, keep your chin up 😉 Cheers Bernie.
Best wishes to you Jay.
I'm a below knee amputee. Tell him he will be ok. Get well soon Jay. I have 8 parrots, 4 dogs and almost 30 tarantulas. Lost my right leg below the knee in 2020.
Lots of love to you all from this Northern Irish girl living in Las Vegas.
Miss you all back home and love your videos Dave and camera lady ❤
❤❤❤❤❤
best wishes JAY get better soon !!
One of my favorites
A. chalcodes is one of my absolute favourite species. I have a tiny sling and love my little baby so much. 🥰 H. chilensis is still on my wish list too. Great pairing video, hopefully there will be lots of eggs with leggs soon.
My little juvi hasn’t molted in two years, slowest growing T but worth the wait. Praying for Jay

I got my Dessert Blonde from an Arizona man with tons of property.
He makes a seasonal Grid Pattern so not to over farm his spiders 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’ve been with Scott for a Very long time & you’re right !!
These pairing videos always make me nervous 😂. Happy all turned out well. Looking forward to seeing an egg sac. 🤞

I hope u recover as fast as possible J! Dave, I can't tell u how many times in my life the ONLY thing that got me thru the day was telling myself that no matter wat I was going thru, sum1 else was out there going thru WAY worse. Literally saved my life forcing myself to think about that at times. Again, J I hope u recover ASAP nd I'm sending positive thots nd vibes ur way💯💜💪
❤️❤️❤️
Support captive breeding and captive bred animals! ❤
❤🕷🕸
Hey guys. He was a brave old chap, wasn't he? I didn't see her move at all before he touched her. I got into the hobby to breed these fantastic creatures. I don't want to see them becoming endangered in their natural habitat. There's absolutely no need for it. That's why I find these pairing vid's both fascinating and important. Take care guys ✌️
Thank you for an interesting video! That's right, someone I know has talked about experiencing that migration of tarantulas in the USA. If you have arachnophobia, it can be scary, of course. I had arachnophobia myself, but my sons tarantula Luni that I had to take care of cured me ( Grammostola Rosea )! I find spiders interesting today, and I never ever kill them but practice the catch and release method. Thank you, dear Dave and Sweet Camera Lady, have a great day! 👋♥️👍
I have just acquired one of these beauties, unsexed sub-adult, can’t wait for it to moult 😊 another great video Dave

Was typical! Paid more for that one as it was “confirmed SAF”… woke up one morning to discover Dolly was actually a Dave!
I thought something was wrong when i first looked as I wasn’t expecting to see this black, leggy thing sitting there! Glad Dave got to do his business!
He will be busy mate 👍❤️
Hey Jay, sorry to hear that things aren't so great just now. Hopefully things will improve as you start to rehabilitate. Very best wishes & love, I hope you a lovely festive season. Please don't feel the need to reply as I know you will have had a lot of messages! 💜🕷🕸🕷🕷🕸🕷

another fine project on the way PROFF. how many pairings have done and to what success do you get. some good footage CAMERA LADY with all the leg actions. how is the new room getting on. --many thanks guys and take care----JAY just stay strong and remember the good times.
I remember back in 1976 my step dad had a business meeting in Arizona. When came home the next day. He told us about the bunch of spiders crossing the roadway and everyone was running them over. I looked at his car and it had spider parts and goo all over it. He took a Polaroid picture of the road. You can't tell there spider's. There were hunders . it looked more like a black line across the road. The picture was taken at night. But ill never forget it.
How is the orb web doing? I love them. Do they live longer inside? Praying for the gentleman in hospital.
Would love a calendar but not on face book how can I get one please. Also sending love to Jay n his family ❤
email me dbjfisher1@yahoo.com
Dave that is my favorite spider I've been trying to find one for a long time here in Ohio and I've found nothing at all 😢 I love that spider to death one of the first I've ever interacted with along with the Texas brown lovely spiders
Hi Dave and Camera lady! I've a male here who has the pick of 8 adult females however 3 of them give him 'not today matey' vibes and so he moves on. With the others he's been in more than once with 3 of them but like with yours in the video, the females do have tendency to try and have a go at the male after separation and he has some war wounds of damaged front legs (below the hook). He's still with me and I'm awaiting a new web but again with this I have notice that it looks like they wreak it soon after and so if you haven't caught them making and using it then you're not sure if they have made one. Regards, Mark & Victoria
I bought my chalcodes as an unsexed sub adult a year and a half ago and I’ve yet to get a moult out of it to be able to find out what it is! It’s a solid four or five inch DLS though so the next moult could well be the MM moult if that turns out to be the case.
This was really interesting to see! Why did the female look frozen most of the time?
Think she was sleeping 😂
