Jayden's FBS record was a 208. Jayden completed 70% of passes over 25 yards that went for 25 TD's 0 INT's. 40 TD's and 4 INT's on year with 10 rushing TD's. All against the #4 strength of schedule and 3 top 10 teams. I challenge you to find any player in the history of College football that set an FBS record for Passer Rating, Yards per pass attempt and led all FBS in yards per carry all against the #4 strength of schedule. I can tell you that you won't find anything remotely close to it. Once NFL teams finish the season and look at stats and tape, I can't see him not going #1 overall.

@daniel5808I would argue that they were playing roughly equivalent. The difference was that Bama doesn’t have a defense made of wet paper and LSU does, meaning that Daniels would eventually get stopped on one drive or another and Milroe wouldn’t

Jayden rating was 208, Caleb at 170, Maye at 145.

Jayden's FBS record was a 208. Jayden completed 70% of passes over 25 yards that went for 25 TD's 0 INT's. 40 TD's and 4 INT's on year with 10 rushing TD's. All against the #4 strength of schedule and 3 top 10 teams.
I challenge you to find any player in the history of College football that set an FBS record for Passer Rating, Yards per pass attempt and led all FBS in yards per carry all against the #4 strength of schedule. I can tell you that you won't find anything remotely close to it. Once NFL teams finish the season and look at stats and tape, I can't see him not going #1 overall.

HE WON THE HEARTS of LSU fans- just like Burrow, Skkkkenes and Reese. They are all ballers who shattered SEC & NCAA records- some that may never be broken. Player development is job #1 at LSU. Kudos to the training staff & coaches who dive deep in the science that helps great players and great transfers play elite almost immediately. Perhaps it's by tweaking balance or pivoting. Maybe a few small repairs that their last school didn't see/fix. A bunch of schools are doing this, but not at this level, not this consistently and certainly not in multiple sports across one athletic department.
