Blasting Out of York Clun Castle and Quiet Tangmere 06 07 2024

- The powerful sound of Castle class locomotive Clun Castle leaving York for Birmingham was very loud in real. Before that Tangmere arrived late ready for a charter train the following day. I decided it best not to go to the Rail Museum Yard and station and glad I waited where I was for Clun Castle.

I went on the tour for the section from York to Scarborough. Was in the front coach for the outward run too, the one behind the GUV van.
You will of had a great sound of her in there.

Brilliant video. I see you now are also filming cats lol But have done before i think. It looks like they really could do with that siding putting back in comission. Clun sounded great leaving at the end
LOL Yea the cat came sauntering along and stopped to say Hi After a while it came back and had a rest where the joint is Seemed to like that gap. When I got there all the tracks were full There was a 150 unit next to the main A bit before Tangmere came someone came and moved a Trans Pennine unit to the line next to Platform 2 The 150 had gone by then too Sure the out of se track was really needed that day. The sound in real was fantastic Really loud Wish it had not been so windy.
