    I would often pull this out to sleep on even if I didn’t have time to use the rest of my sleep system works pretty well keeps you from loosing heat to the ground and makes the ground slightly softer, the USGI ones don’t have a bag however the Canadian equivalent does

    I found a chart and the 20 in. Wide are for women. The large and extra large are 30 in. Wide and it doesn't specify what the R value is and the large and extra large come in longer lengths

    It’s funny because the Army messes your back up so bad that this shitty mat feels like a sleep number! 😂

    For anyone looking for one of these I bought one at Sierra Trading Post for 49.99 the other day. Brand new, sealed up.

    you may already know this but do not store it rolled up. Storing it rolled up will cause the foam to stay compressed and it will not self inflate when you need it.

      I’m looking into getting one of these how should it be stored properly ?

    • @Mecha04
      @Mecha04 2 года назад +1

      @@Rtb323 store it with the valve open so that the foam doesn't stay compressed. I store it like this under my bed and only compress it when I go camping

      @@Mecha04 can I fold it in half and roll it up ? As long as I keep the valve open will it be okay ?
      Sorry If the quetion seems funny but I picked up one of these at a surplus.. just wanna see if I can compress it into a smaller piece so I don’t take up to much room in my gear. Thanks for the advice btw :)
