y'all gotta give Fivio more respect. He raps on drill beats, so he was completely out of his element here, and he seemed like one of the only people who actually freestyled their verse. His adlibs also carried the whole cypher lol I will admit though, Fivio Foreign does kinda rap in bullet points

They did nle choppa really bad this year. They took the take where he had that big break in the freestyle and then with the cypher where he basically mumbled two bars.
It also doesn’t help that they put him on the most mellow cypher of the batch. If he had been on with Polo, Jack, and Keed, it might have gone differently

The freshman cyphers are not freestyles. They have many takes to figure out what they gonna say and how they deliver. Yeah, the beat wasn't his style and he just tried to show off what he does rather than adapting to what they wanted him to do. All in all, he did the best with what he was given while trying to not be misleading by using a style he doesn't use in his actual music.
