Hello Jacob and Jonathan. You probably don't remember us, but my wife Cherie and I babysat for you in the early 90's up in Alanson Michigan. Your dad (Tim) your mother Rebekah and your grandma were at our church Liberty Baptist in Alanson. I introduced your dad to big woods public land whitetail gun hunting. He shot a nice 5 pointer the first sit I put him on! I will never forget it. It is great seeing how you guys have picked up the love of the woods, the love of Jesus and the love of hunting. I am older now 66 and don't get around like I did in my 30's. We live in mid Michigan now near Lapeer. Lots of deer here but all private and nobody to hunt with. I strictly hunt gun as I can't climb trees due to lower back surgery. I hunt closer to the road and usually just get a doe. Beautiful buck you guys harvested on this video. The rut is FUN and unpredictable. Tell you mom and dad "hello" and Merry Christmas from Ken and Cherie Truman👍
Hey Ken! My dad has told us hunting stories about you and him before! I think those experiences where he brought home a deer and we all processed it on the kitchen floor of our home in Alanson were the moments that really got me hooked on the outdoors and hunting. I would always ask him to get out the 30-30 so we could look at it!lol So awesome to hear from you. I will pass on your greetings to my family. Have a Merry Christmas!
We use a basic belay device and back it up with a prusic attached to the saddle on the tag end side. Very safe and works well! Ive got a video on my one stick setup if you want to see it up close.

Dont wrap you tag around the horns..... check its not a legal tagging method
He looks older than 4 in the face.
I wish I would have saved the teeth to get him aged. I think i'm going to start this year.
