I absolutely HOOKED back in the day. Now Titanfall is pretty much unplayable PC with all the DDOS attacks but on console it's still very much alive. Who's still playing this gem in 2023?

I felt like the titans in tf2 were more in the same battle as the pilots. In tf1 I felt like an ant avoiding titans, terrified if you came around a corner with a titan looking right at you. It felt like two distinct fights happening.

Yeah in tf2 pilots can move a lot faster blind titans etc. I remember playing this game on pc and now it's deleted. At least tf2 got some love recently.

I wish they made a version of apex with the realism and grittiness and violence of Titanfall 1 I'll always miss it, now it's all rainbow colors and vibrant lights which is fine I guess but the old stuff is way more military like

@@9cboomer720 2 wasn't gritty at all. In a way 2's artstyle forshadowed the transition to the one we see in apex.
I like Titanfall 1 more than 2 because of the shield system of the mechs. you can recover from a fight.

@@ErtsenPlayGamesplease don't get overhyped, at best we're getting the Apex campaign that EA canceled, and at worst, we're getting cosmetics for Apex, a Titanfall 3 is EXTREMELY unlikely.
Anyone know a good place to get people together to play Titanfall 1? I wanna do the campaign again but there's no players on it. I can barely get an Attrition match going

I actualy loved the fact that you can get so lost in the battle that you think a grunt is a pilot, it realy adds to the feeling of how much a confusing mess warfare can get, and it just felt more grounded. Other thing is that in the begining of TF|2 what Cooper sais is realy applied in the first game: "What truly separates the pilot from all the grunts and machines of the battlefield, is the bond between a pilot and a titan".

One thing I wished Titanfall 2 did was add the maps from Titanfall 1. Seems pretty easy and will add some more life to the community.

need a titanfall 1 remake for ps5. don‘t change anything, just revive it and maybe upgrade the graphics but I actually do love this nostalgic vibe

The first titanfall was actually an Xbox exclusive so that wouldn't be possible unfortunately
Titanfall 1 > Titanfall 2 but sadly today's gamers want everything glittery, with saturated colors all over the place, so we'll hardly have games like this again (from AAA companies at least).
I personally think the only thing better about 1 is the Titans and Maps. 2 did everything better. The best maps in TF2 are from TF1 lol.
I agree that the art style in Titanfall 1 is better. What I like in TF1 is that everything looks more simple and militaristic and it's up to the player to do impressive stunts. It brings a nice balance to the whole experience. No need for the crazy executions from TF2 when you, as a player, can do more impressive things yourself. The cool parts are your own stunts, not how your titan tears of the arms of another titan and then flies up and shoots rockets at it during an execution that you had to pay for.
Titanfall 1 > Titanfall 2. One of my favorite shooters of all time, the smart pistol was the only bad thing about the game.
in my opinion one of the best things about tf1 that did far better than 2 was the titans, getting a titanfall actually felt like a turning point in the match because nothing could really counter it except pilots working together or another titan, and if you got spotted without a titan it was game over, because you couldnt powerslide in tf1 a titan was faster than you, so players couldnt just abuse the b hop or stim to quickly boost the fuck out, you either slithered away down a narrow walkway where the titan couldnt go and hide, get lucky that a teammate would distract it, or fuckin die
Absolutely loved this game. It was the first game I owned when I bought my first Xbox One. I played this for nearly 2 years! Just looked at my stat track on my achievements and apparently I played 7,000+ matches with 4,000+ mvp! I knew I loved this game but never knew I played that much! I loved everything about this game, especially the Maps and Card system!
Currently right now I’m playing Titanfall 2 after almost 8 years since it released and I can’t believe I haven’t touched 2 at all till today since TF1 is probably my most played Xbox One game in history.
4,000 MVP is nuts! I curious to see my stats in TF1. I totally forgot what they are. I will say Titanfall 1 has WAY better maps than 2.
@@sternwardboss Even for me today 4,000 was insane but I was 22 years old when I played it! I checked one of my old friends I played this with (he was one of the few titanfall streamers) and honestly 4,000 is nuts until you check his stats and he’s played 18,000+ matches with 12,000+ mvps. He was the true titanfall god at the game. Sadly he no longer plays it and has switched to Halo for the last 6 years or so
Older games are better and that’s a fact.
I feel like they should allowed you to toggle if you want you embark to be first person or third person though.
Other than that it is perfect.
They’re 100% better. Hopefully with TF3 we’ll get that option. Entering the Titans in First person is so much cooler. It adds to the immersion

I actually like that there is no customization for the titans in tf1. Feels like the titan Im calling in is literally fresh off the assembly line

Just played a titanfall 1 match on Xbox one. It says that’s are 0 players world wide but if you just queue up for attrition it will put you in a match.

Its a shame I dont have an xbox, im stuck having to hope enough people are on to even play attrition on pc 😢 tf2 just doesn't have that gritty feel to it and the titan gameplay on two feels more like a hero game than controlling a giant mech.

Hey. I just got an xbox and wanted to pick up titanfall 1 to play but saw xbox live gold on the cover now i heard xbox live gold is dead but was wondering if i needed something else to play it. I really hust want to play the story because i like titanfall 2 so much. Would appreciate any help or comments on it as it would be helpful
The only way to play it is if you own the Disc or previously bought it digitally. It’s not in Digital stores anymore

Titanfall 1 is not available to buy anymore online. The only way to play it is if you already own it or you buy the Disk and play it on Xbox

What if they add evangelion weapons as kill streak rewards. Say you get an A.T field for 10 sec or you get the lance of Longinus for a limited amount of time which is like a 1 hit titan weapon

You could in theory with ea's game pass thing but why bother, on pc it's mostly dead and it has no singleplayer content so unless someone makes a custom launcher like northstar on tf2 you will find that the few lobby's you can find constantly have the same people
