Hey guys, if you can believe it, I was with him on this trip, It was a bus safety show at his school, I was only about 9, but I was there, you can ask him yourself, you may not believe me, but it is true.
Good old GMT 530, turbocharged caterpillar inline 6. With hand throttle. We had a 97, ours was always extremely hard starting in the cold, that annoying, but nonetheless interesting warning tone that continuously sounded, as you waited for the intake heater to heat up. And the nice quiet clicking of that our counter I'm going to assume that's what it is. Ours had hydraulic brakes, I guess that's why they ordered an international with air brakes, and not the gmc.
I've never seen one in my school district. I'm not sure if they had any in the Truro school district (That's Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada by the way. Not, Truro, UK). But, I would have loved to see the newer GMC and Chevy buses in our school district considering that most Blue Birds that we got in our school district are the Internationals and the rarer Fords. Both the Ford, GMC and, Chevy chassis look great with the Blue Bird bodies in my opinion, especially the older models. And, this is a nice-looking bus and it's in great condition. Easily, one of the rarer Blue Bird buses aside from the Freightliner and Ford chassis.
Love the music in the beginning and cool bus

I seen multiple 90s b series buses at my school. One or them was a Chevy and the only Chevy I seen except it was a shorty. The rest were gmc
