😅first of all what he shows it's not bunkai but what Mr. Okazaki kreated in his head and has nothing to do with real bunkai. Real bunkai require knowledge that Mr. Okazaki doesn't have. Unfortunately he shows something that is not even close to bunkai.
Please could you then explain what is ”real” bunkai Kumite? How do you know he do not have the right knowledge? Have you been with him? Have you practiced with him? Please enlighten me. Thanks OSU
@@KrisgomgunKANKUKAN yes, I had a chance to train with him in Japan, real Bunkai is based on Tao philosophy and Mr. Okazaki doesn't know it or at least doesn't use it in his training. He is repeating whatever he was told by the other instructors who taught him. This is little longer story but lots of Japanese instructors don't know bunkai. First of all this is big difference between sport karate and Budo Karate and bunkai is about Budo Karate and is almost not applicable in sport karate with sport rules. It's really impossible to explain all this in such a short text. Osu!
@@timassel1372 Thanks for your honest answer, I do not share the same perspective. At the end the knowhow is passed from master to student than later on, maybe, will become a master. At some point you learned from someone, by attending to classes, reading, practicing and also by experience. True, today many martial arts are sport oriented but I must say Kyokushin-kan is not such organisation that only focus on sport. Is an organisation that focus on the Budo “way”. I had the opportunity to practice in Japan quite many times and honestly it is focused on Budo, as real martial art, Bunkai, ura waza and deep dive to the “secrets of Karate” - Kyokushin Karate. All that dedication, explanations and deep dive I have never seen before (now talking about Kyokushin Karate). There are several books release by Kaicho Royama that are exceptional. I have read Sosai Oyamas books too. During teachings reflections from their masters are mentioned and explained, in this case Kaicho Royama masters as Sosai Oyama, Sensei Hideo Nakamura and Ken’ichi Sawai. Kaicho Okasaki, Shihan Ichijima do put their heart and knowledge to teach things that you often do not see. I believe it is real Karate and Budo Karate and of course currently learning and practicing every day. Trying to pass to the next generation what I have learned, much more to come - I hope. Always trying to set into the perspective and differentiate what is sport and budo. I think it is very important to teach those things. One thing is the tatami and another thing is the reality. Again, thanks for your insight and explanation. As you say it is difficult to explain all this in a such short text. If you come by Madrid you are welcome to visit us at Kamae Do / Kankukan Dojo. OSU
@@KrisgomgunKANKUKAN It's a shame we haven't had this conversation two months ago, I was in Madrid in May and June, it would be great chance to talk and train together. Maybe next year, I plan to visit Madrid again. Ok, I'll tell you in been practicing Kyokushin from 1969, I trained in main Honbu with Sosai Mas Oyama, I trained with Kaicho Hatsuo Royama years ago, I trained with Bobby Lowe Shihan for years very systematically, I have my own dojo in Chicago, I traveled to China and trained in Shaolin Temple with real monks, I trained in many different countries with many different masters, most of them are/were my friends. Kaicho Royama knows me pretty well. I'm a doctor of Chinese Medicine and I'm academic teacher of Oriental Medicine. I don't only train karate I study karate and that's why I'm saying it's very hard to talk about details, it's too complex. I just want you to know I have some backgroun ... Osu!
How do you use "Tao philosophy" in bunkai? I keep seeing these type of comments on every bunaki video. Please explain what real bunaki is and how you use it in training. Thank you.
Хироко Окадзаки. Живая легенда Киокушинкай. Народное достояние Японии. В одном ряду с Ояма и Рояма. Я всегда равнялся на него. Осу!
