Why I No Longer Sell on Amazon

- When a company abandons its customers, refuses to stand behind what they sell, and lets CSR's treat customers like expletive, why should we do business with them?
This is why you can no longer buy my books on Amazon.
Amazon is pretty awful but personally I've found they're good at returns for items with the "prime" label, but for non-prime items they're awful. I've honestly had better luck with Ali Express than non-prime Amazon items.
More and more, I just use the Google shopping search to find various stores and sellers that have a similar product available. I can even find products that are available at various brick & mortar stores through this type of Google search as well. Looks like Barnes & Noble is getting more of my dollars nowadays.
I've grown frustrated with Amazon the last couple years because frankly so many of the products they sell at this point are complete garbage like what they sold you.
I prefer going to the store and seeing what I am buying - it's worth the trip (what else have I got to do?).
Libby by Overdrive will help for audiobooks.
Think it would be worth pursuing a fraud complaint via your state's attorney general?
Amazon is slowly dying from within
Well, that's tacky. Sorry Amazon gave you a hard time, but the warning is clear: Amazon's help service is total crapola and always has been. I don't use them all that much.
Personally, I have never really had any problems with Amazon, and I still keep Prime because it does benefit me in the long run. And I haven't had much use for Audible since they stopped supporting my precious Cowon mp3 player, but I still maintain membership if only to retain access to the books I've already purchased. I probably will maintain Audible on the off chance that I actually want to take the time and effort to record the booktapes for my own collection (in standard mp3 format, which will take forever because you have to do that in real time), but I haven't purchased anything new on the service for months.
I already used Epubor to convert all my Audible files to MP3 once they stopped supporting my iPod Classic.
@@PabSungenis Great to hear! I will check them out. Thanks, Pab!
