Can't describe how much I loved your skirt and lipstick and the fact that they matched Alfie's outfit, is so adorable. I also think that you looked a lot like The Red Riding Hood when you were picking up those plants for your guinea pigs, especially with the awesome floppy hat.

You can't bake a rainbow cake using yellow cake mix, or with egg yoke, because the yellow interferes with the dyes. Buy white, like white white cake mix and only use the whites of the eggs next time
I couldn't tell in the picture if you used icing in between each piece, but you should use icing in between each piece.
It can work as long as she uses gel dyes as they are much more concentrated. Even if she had used white cake, the liquid dyes would never bake as bright as the gel.
Although, the only real difference between white and yellow cake are the egg yolks.
^ no, if you go to the store to buy cake mix lots of the cake mixes you see will be yellow, not white.
Or , if your willing to spare a bit more time , you can make each color seperate and put them together in end . Put yes either or will work xx

The white pug makes me miss Buddy. He looked just like her & was 14 when he was put down (from old age & nightly seizures & a huge blood clot in his forehead. Poor guy was suffering). I grew up with him & miss him dearly. Was my little protector (when my mom yelled at me when I was 4 or 5 he would stand between us, guarding me & bark at her as if to chew her out & tell her not to yell at me lol) he was a sweetheart.

Regarding the cake, its probably the food colourings you used. Some of them are only good for dyeing fondant/frosting/icing. When baked it changes colour. Food colouring gel or paste (rather than liquid) would work best for next time. You only need to use a little bit and it wont alter the taste as much. Hoped this helped :)
Also what alters the colour of the cake is using egg yolk and butter as its better to have a white batter then yellow when using food colouring. Just use egg whites and shortening instead. :)

They have changed the promise and it's now "I promise that I will do my best, to be true to myself and develop my beliefs, to serve the queen and my community, to help other people and to keep the brownie guide law". It's taken quite some learning after it being the same promise for the 16 years I've been involved in guiding.
I'm sorry I'm not sure what they are talking about is the brownie thing like girl/boy scouts?

Zoe is doing the 'Celebrity British Bake off for Comic Relief' (also called The Great Comic Relief Bake Off) and she was filming in Valentines Park with Gok Wan (Who is also a contestant). This is why she spent 2 whole days 'working' because each episode consist of three challenges that take place over two days, and the filming takes up to 16 hours a day!!! (Look it up)
(This also explains why she "randomly" decided to bake a Rainbow Cake. She was practicing for the show!!!!!)
The real question is did she end up getting eliminated or not....?
(The show will premiere on BBC Two on January 21, 2015)
