Hi Eddie!. Just want to thank you, your videos helped me a lot by passing the rhcsa exam last month. Now i'm preparing for the rhce. Good luck on the next exam!

You're welcome, and thank you for being a subscriber! I was successful on EX188. Onward to EX374 now! With the pace that I'm preparing for the exams, I haven't had much time to prepare these videos for uploading. I'll be recording practice sessions for everything, and will eventually get them uploaded.

I'm glad to see this new series on your channel, you're very well spoken and nice to listen to! I think the EX188 certification pathway is what many people would usually do after RHCE so these practice sessions will likely help a lot of people 🙂.

Thank you! I appreciate your kind words. :)
I'm working on my RHCA and trying to finish it before February 2025. I've passed EX188 and preparing for EX374 at the moment. My intended path is probably a little scattered since I'm balancing stuff I want to learn and work on with things that would be useful for my job. I took EX188 to fill a skills gap of container basics that I've wanted to fill for a while, though I don't work with containers at my job. EX374 is about Ansible, which I touch daily.
I'm recording practice sessions as I get close to each exam, but alas, the pace for preparing for the exams isn't leaving me much time for video editing for RUclips. Granted my editing is mainly removing pauses and upping the volume on audio, but it still takes time. I *will* eventually get all of the practice sessions uploaded, but it may be a while.

Thank you! More will be coming soon(TM). I'm working toward my RHCA and have four more exams ahead of me. I'm recording my practice sessions for them, but my study pace isn't allowing much time for preparing them for RUclips. They'll come eventually!

Hi Eddie! Say thank you, your videos are really very useful for attempting EX 188 exam. How can I get the Openshift environment or can I use my own built Linux VM for this practice? Thanks Nehas

Thank you for watching! Remember, my practice session are just that, practice sessions. They're not authoritative, but I try to have the info right ;)
I would look into a Red Hat Developer Subscription. I can't remember off the top of my head if it includes Openshift, but I *think*, even if it doesn't Red Hat offers a trial that you could use for your practice. I would think for EX188 you shouldn't need experience with Openshift to prepare, since there's nothing about Openshift in the objectives.
My formal training for the exam came from a Red Hat Learning Subscription, which includes practice labs and such. For my final prep, I worked through the objectives on my own RHEL VMs using Podman. So I would suspect practicing Podman things on your own RHEL VMs would be fine. Again, look into the Red Hat Developer Subscription, because at the very least, you are entitled to 16 RHEL instances, so you can practice in the same environment on which you'll be tested.
