@@teotik8071 Yes. Also have driven an old VW camper most of my life. Had an old Porsche when I was young. That was when I was working for a VW-Porsche dealership. I didn't find out about the family German connection until later in life which explains it all.😎
@@teotik8071 T1 & T2 have become cult cars here. I used the two T2's I've had for criss-crossing the country most of my life with the work I did. Their days are now numbered as prices & parts availability have gone thru the roof. The steering broke on mine -- thankfully in a parking lot & not going down the highway -- and they want US$5,000 to rebuild it IF they can get the parts. It's now parked at the back of the driveway at a friend's car repair shop where I live in it these days. Not much change from all the years on the road. Not having a car in a big city makes sense these days.
The Narrow gauge one would be home. In Maine. The 50 would be home in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia running on the Norfolk Southern line. Running with the 611. Narrow-gauge

Great video thanks, the narrow gauge locomotive was excellent, it looks just like the Tillig loco that I have.
I think I saw two different track gauges. Cool!
You saw correctly: the track on the right is the 750-mm-narrow-gauge line to Oberwiesenthal
I've been there, that's exactly what you see.
Wonderful, one narrow gauge 2ft?? one standard gauge. Great video. 👍👍
This simply puts a smile on anyones faces
Love those "Hooter" whistles.

Thank you. Would love to visit Germany!
@@teotik8071 I am in California. Some family ancestors came to the U.S. from Germany in the 1800s. Thanks for asking.

Beim letzten pfiff der br50 auf der brücke hab ich echt Gänzehaut bekommen
That's some happy heart food brother.
Quicker out of the traps there at the end than a Bugatti Chiron!
Indeed! Quicker than a type 57 Bugatti for sure. Classic cars and vintage trains, aren't they wonderful? They go so well together.
Coaling heavy…is that necessary or just unavoidable?
ok
Der Afterburner bringt's...
die 50 3610 geht ja ab wie eine V180
