Hey there - nice video - this is a great idea, and what a pleasant surprise to hear your For for Saddle, I wrote that proposal and spent so much time working on it - so thank you for taking the time to not only be thorough in your evaluation - but also sharing this information for others.
Couple exciting things to note - the Saddle TVL has been booming since the Frax partnership was announced recently, even while the entire DeFi market is getting pummeled pretty bad...I think people really need to think about what that means for a protocol that is somehow growing amidst all of this....and ask themselves; "is there maybe something worth looking into here?" Hint - answer is yes. :)
Anyways great to watch this! New sub right here! Cheers. #OP #Crypto #DeFi

I love the idea of doing the videos and I agree with mostly everything other then one main thing
Related to the wallet I have to disagree, I think wallets are the best for distributing grants as one of the main points of entry and contact with a chain for a user + the added fact they mention they will support dapps. Basically means constant growth and adoption to the op eco, which unlike proposals for liquidity or incentive rewards it would continue to add value for a long time

do you own any tokens of projects involved?
If you did own say hundred finance tokens, would you abstain? for small projects this works, but what about an ETH related proposal, one could not really not vote because of ETH ownership... but then again.... eth so big your vote would not matter to eth price... would be interesting to hear your thoughts on the abstain if own, or whatever other approach..... Cheers

It's a very good question. I do not own any tokens of any of these projects (other than OP tokens). I think abstaining is a reasonable choice if I stand to benefit directly & financially from the vote.
The counterargument would be that if I am a long term holder of a projects token, it's because I am a believer in the legitimacy of that project, which would mean that I also believe that they may be a good project to fund with an $OP grant.
That said, my current plan is to abstain by default in those situations. Of course, I will also always be transparent if I have conflicts of interest in a project. If there is a gray area, I'll look for feedback publicly before making a decision.
