    In this intriguing video, I take on the challenge of cleaning a delicate cotton rug that was recovered from a dump. Abandoned and neglected, the rug shows signs of wear and tear, making restoration seem uncertain.

      @@Rockyslays_helluvafan in many cultures rugs are being put on the walls because being made to be decorations in the first place. In your culture rugs are made with functional purpose of being on the floor to make it more pleasant to walk on. People from other cultures could say you are dumb instead: you are throwing delicate works of art that take immense time and skill to produce without automation into dust and walk on them, do you also think pictures belong on the floor?
      Both positions are valid, but you are being disrespectful to others just because you never seen how other people outside your country do it, while a quick "rug on the wall" googling could show you why and how often its done.

      As a weaver, I appreciate your acknowledgement of hand crafted goods. Maybe this rug was a tapestry originally on the wall. Huge tapestries were used in castles to keep the environment warm 🥵

    Dirt Reynolds googly eyes make me smile so much 😂😂 I literally think the world would be a happier place if lots of random things had googly eyes on them 👀… amazing work as always.. I could sit and watch this all day.. I’m mesmerised xo 😀

    That's in intense difference; I think it must take a very steady hand with that pressure washer to be able to get that filth out while refraining from actually tearing the rug apart! Amazing stuff.

    WOW this is a gorgeous rug. Too late for this one but if I may ask, would it be possible in future videos to take a snapshot of the label on the back. I'm curious to see where they were manufactured and the materials used.

    Beautiful rug, it almost looks more like a tapestry. Do the tags on the back ever mention the date of manufacture, and if so, what is the oldest one you have come across?

      ​@@kl5881 he donates his rugs to animal shelters usually, as well as centers for those with special needs. I have never seen him sell one. Only giving them away to places that need them.

    What a beautiful rug. I don’t understand how people can just toss something so beautiful in the trash instead of giving it away or to Goodwill. What you did for that rug is so wonderful. I’m sure you’ll find it a loving home.

    Oh wow. WOW! I never would have guessed there's such a cute rug design beneath all that dirt. That looked pretty hard to get the soil out of every inch but it was worth it. Difference like day and night!

    At the beginning of the video, the carpet looks like a garden in the yard, which is full of mud and earthworms, and at the end, the carpet looks like a forest with trees, animals, and birds. How beautiful this video was🌹

    Sometimes I think about how many mountains that you can make simply by using the dirt cleaned out from the all the rugs you've restored. Simply amazing to see the miracle work you do with each rug!

    The finished result as compared to the condition of the rug when you first started are like day & night!!! Your methodical skills are--quite simply--without any equals!!! I subscribed after seeing your second produced video, and have continued to watch them ever since because almost no one believes in fixing or reviving anything anymore. People just throw everything away. Your videos are an inspiration for all of the people who believe in breathing new life back into old discarded things..👏👏👏

    That is a fabulous rug- so delicately coloured but what a fantastic design! It must have been someone's pride and joy when they first got it, and broke their heart when it got so dirty they decided it could not be salvaged! I wonder how many other wondrous floor coverings have been lost to flood damage over the years...
    At least your cleaning will give it a new lease of life- good job!

    Powerwashing the fringe was probably the most satisfying part of this whole clean. It's such a pretty rug!
    Was it textured? because it made a different sound when you were squeegeeing it.
