    Its nice to see this done minimal machines and mostly rudimentary tools.
    Especially removing the eyes with simple tools. That's pretty cool. I never saw someone do it that way.
    Anyway, your a true craftsman and did an excellent job on these.
    Beautiful pair of boots.

    Fantastic job! I especially like the brass heel tacks. I have these same boots that I've owned for well over seven years and they need a resole, so I guess I'll be seeing y'all soon.

    What does the little piece of fabric you put on the shank do?

      We've found that it helps to prevent squeaking when you walk.
