Hey #PDArmy, here's an electric motorcycle from the founder of Micromax! Do you think the RV400 has the punch? Hit that Like button if it does, and Comment below what you think about it!
NOTE : The stunt bikes on stage weren't equipped with CBS, however, the production motorcycles will get CBS as standard.

You know what will make electric vehicles more stunning!!
A portable charger to charge a battery at home.
Most of us live in apartment and it is impossible for us to pass the cable from our house to vehicle. And a charging station is also not a good choice since you have to wait there until your bike charge.
So this 2 feature would make hit in market.
    1. Easy to remove battery.
    2. A portable battery charger.

If Micromax's After Sale Service is anything to go by then you probably must have figured out how Revolt's After Sale Service would be.
The best advantage a Petrol or Diesel vehicle has is that it gets you going after a minute or two at the Petrol station but batteries take time to charge, I mean a lot of time plus batteries degrade over time aswell.
So this is what most Indian consumer would think:
    1. It is expensive.
    2. Top speed just 80-90KMPH
    3. Range just 150KM
    4. Problem of Charging
    5. Less Charging station network unlike Tesla (Do they even know what Indian population is?)
    6. They didn't mention if it supports fast charging.
    7. Most people stay in a flat instead of Bungalows like ppl in USA so how would you charge it?
People already have too many problems in life to worry about. They just don't want another problem or Revolt (Problems) in life. 😅

No doubt rider should have 2 batteries, without extra one he can't survive with this bike. When one in use other should be in charging.
You missed one thing, in charge station you don't have to wait for the battery to get fully charged. You leave your drained battery there and take new one which already charged.
Still I believe it takes time for us to cope up but no doubt it's best initiative. If you ask me I'll wait for months till charging network is almost available in city and think about to buy.
But there's one thing this bike won't be suitable for me even though I'm interested in it. I ride too much on weekends from one place to another for long rides, and it'll be useful only for local city commute. Why would I buy new bike worth 1 lakh for only local commute? I'd rather add that money and buy one powerful Petrol bike.

    • @AmpedUpTech
      @AmpedUpTech 5 лет назад

@@sharmagaurav22 I am all for Electric Cars and Two Wheelers aswell buddy. Fuck Petrol and Diesel vehicles. Planet is more important but first they need to build charging station network.
I am pretty sure Revolt is using old tech which companies who are into Electric vehicles in USA abondned a long time ago. 150KM range? Really? Its not even practical. If this bike would have been built with the new tech, I am pretty sure it would have had range between 500-600KM with Fast charging support.
I know now people would say "But Tesla cars have bigger batteries", I agree but there is something called Power to Weight ratio. Even though bikes could be equipped with only small batteries but if new tech batteries would be used, the range could be increased drastically.
Until there isnt good Fast Charging Station Network in India, owning an Electric Vehicle is simply not practical.
