There aren't much because most fans are into the upbeat and almost monotonous so-called music of K-Pop girl groups... I honestly think such nowadays lack sense and sincerity or reflection of emotions and are kinda messy to listen to, that's why I only like very selective K-artists' pop songs. BTS and IU are the ones I've binge-listened to. And because of them, I'm becoming willing to give other sincere K-music artists a shot to listen to. I just started appreciating K-pop because of the mentioned artists just less than 3 months ago, actually. I always thought it was all the glamor and lack of soul put into songs, plastic-surgery and white wash enriched faces that were the selling the company name, not for the sole purpose of making real music. And it was just the K-drama scores or instrumental soundtracks I used to like listening to. But now, thanks to IU and BTS, I'm liking their vibe in many ways. The visuals and background match their songs, the rawness of every thought and emotion put into it, the genuineness they show in their tours and concerts to their fans, both local and international, their efforts in being a part or doing a part of their song productions. I hope for IU to be more known internationally- it's not just Western music artists that have to shine all the time, to be honest.

Funny because that is actually what I look like watching this video. 😂 Aaahh, she just makes me happy. I'm also quite sad because I wasn't able to go to her first concert in Manila last December because I didn't know her yet at the time. Then I watched Hotel Del Luna and it became my #1 favorite K-drama (I must have watched the whole series 3x now). And that's where the fangirling began. After 5 months of non-stop fangirling, I've watched almost all of her shows (My Mister, Scarlet Heart, The Producers, Hyori's B&B, Dream High) and listened to her songs on Spotify (my favorite album is definitely Palette!!). I think its great that many ppl got to be IU's fans from her acting, why? Because you will fall deeper from her music XD IU's musicality is no joke, in 2008-2010 she was guest in weekly radio gigs about 3 times a week, and that programs she will sing and sing and sing. Week in and week out. And she covers numerous song too in many small stages. If you search youtube literally there are hundreds videos of her live singing, from 2008 - now.
and unlike three years, I still wonder why it is so overrated. She's the best artist I've ever had, there's nothing she can't do, she's good-humored, humble, nice and kind and a voice that when you hear it warms your heart and comforts you. I personally feel like yes she works very hard and has for very long but she just isn't my personal favorite soloist and ppl often push for others to Stan her just because she is iu and everyone loves her. I think we should respect her as iu yet I just don't don't see her as a soloist I should follow on IG or Stan automatically cuz of who she is. I admire her though and just cuz she isn't my favorite soloist, she is on my top list though.

IU can sing and act very well, she’s very talented. I watched Hotel Del Luna and I fell in love with her. I become her fan already. I didn’t know that she’s a great singer I thought she’s just an actress but when I listen to her songs, I fell in love even more. Her lyrics is beautiful and relatable, she’s a storyteller. I always watch her videos because it makes me happy especially when I’m lonely but sometimes when I feel happy, I listen to her song “Knee” and “Through the night” it can change my mood and it really makes me feel sad. I think its great that many ppl got to be IU's fans from her acting, why? Because you will fall deeper from her music XD IU's musicality is no joke, in 2008-2010 she was guest in weekly radio gigs about 3 times a week, and that programs she will sing and sing and sing. Week in and week out. And she covers numerous song too in many small stages. If you search youtube literally there are hundreds videos of her live singing, from 2008 - now.
