Yeah, Concorde is a beauty no matter the size. She just looks so elegant; basically the antithesis of the typical "flying bus" design of all other passenger aircraft.
too bad you are wrong. the british and french governments partnered and then bought the plans to the 2707. why ? because the american companies already knew 1) how to make a super liner (2707) and 2) there was no real market for it...the only reason concorde flew was because it was a taxpayer funded project. put that in your pipe and smoke it, "old boy" @General Geometrix
@@anthonyb1053 the B52 looks like a four year old child drew it after seeing a few bombers. And they fell apart in strong winds. Veeeeery elegant.

+Col. Angus The Concorde didn't sound like a regular jet, on takeoff, it was incredibly noisy, everything on the ground shook miles away. Oddly on landing, it was quieter than other jets. I used to hate its' takeoffs out of JFK as a kid but, oddly, now I kind of miss it.
+tryithere Kind of like the old C5 Galaxy military cargo aircraft I used to see taking off and landing behind my house. No other aircraft sounded like those. They were super loud, big, lumbering things. They looked like they were barely moving when coming in on approach. But they were awesome. Now they've been replaced by the C17's which are far quieter.

+tryithere Not "oddly". The Concorde uses afterburners and tremendous power at takeoff; it nearly glides at landing, with its huge wings.

Wow, I was always enamored with the Concorde, in my opinion, it was the best commercial airliner ever built...

Mickeyislowd I don't see how that's possible. Even at nearly 5 thousand dollars a ticket, Concorde was still losing money. I'd like to know more about the Airbus Concorde though

Concord made money every year it was in service and in it's lat year mad over £50 million. There is a consortium with private enterprise paying to put concord back in the skies but obviously not for transatlantic flights.

+rebelyell22 Any LED's in the exhaust of those jet engines would be fried. If those are JetCat engines they produce a good size flame out the back at full power.
+johnabuick They are LEDs. They sit around the nozzles, not in them. A very common thing these days.

Sure looks so real even with the glowing jet engines and exhaust trails. Had a chance to be inside one of the BA Concorde on display in Seattle, WA close to Boeing Airport. Sad that the idea of supersonic commercial flights died with the high cost of maintenance that led to it's demise. Kudos to those hobbyist who spent time and $$ to make the memory alive.
I think it is so awesome to see how far RC has come since my youth,, I mean jet engines were unheard of back then.

When the Concordes were flying out of JFK I had several sightings of them taking off flying west and then making a big turn to head east of the Atlantic. It's uncanny how much this video reminds me of that. Thank heavens these planes are not nearly as loud.

Do you really think that every plane you see chemtrailling the sky is a full sized plane? Most of them are rc planes, just flying lower to look like a commercial flight. Chemtrails are more effective when applied from lower altitudes.

I miss the beautiful sleek concorde! One crash, it's done, unlike all the other planes that continued to fly no matter how many crashes they are in! It had the best safety record of any of the jets flying, a real shame!
