Thank you for being the first person I have found on RUclips to show the different sides of this model guitar as you were inspecting it right out of the package. I would like to compare the weight and dimensions against the higher end guitars of the Ibanez S series. I like the lightweight and thin body of this particular model and would like to go for a GSA60 as well being they are cheaper than the other models. Thank you again.
Thanks. The Ibanez GSA60 is probably 2/3 the weight of a standard strat. Its very light weight compared to the GRG superstrats from Ibanez and Squier strats
Sure. Looking for a peaceful time in my home to upload a few recordings and a decent phone to do so. Most youtubers use iphone. I have a low end samsung :-)
@@drsumitrai Cheap suggestion: Put your phone (whatever be it) in a cardboard box with opening facing towards you (amp). It'll greatly minimize room reverb/echo
Ergonomically speaking GA S60 is lighter, easier the handle. Thinner and more comfortable if you play standing. Besides the edges on the body are blunted so doesn't hurt when have placed it on your thigh when playing sitting
Hey Sumit, looking forward to the sound test. how does this compare to the Yamaha Pacifica 112? I could invest in a more expensive amp with the pacifica.
I dont have a Pacifica. But its been rated as. Good Option among the less expensive range. Your tone will depend on the Amp, I would suggest Katana50. Its awesome and has numerous options and all the boss tones. You can even have a boss foot pedal to switch between 4 patched in your channels. Adding some reverb and delay spoces up your clean tones especially if you keep yoir mids down and the high ans lows up at 3 O Clock
Hi Sumit... Did you compare Squier affinity strat (HSS or SSS) with this? I'm also looking for buying a guitar in this range which has single coil Neck pickup... Can you suggest?
In my limited experience, Id say go in for a 22fret HSS Squier strat. Bajaao.com has HSS squier strats but upto 21 frets. HSS widens the scope of playing heavy metal and rock as well besides the blues. I have found that blues sounds are better on the neck single coil
@@drsumitrai Thanks for the reply. Offline Stores are selling Fender Affinity strat for ~10k higher than Bajaao. so it's already outside my budget. Stores near me don't even have it for a trial/test. It's stupid. Anyways i need to finalize, and I like to play soft arpeggios/rock not much heavy shredding. Would you suggest GSA60 as a good starter for it? One more question, what's the standard warranty on Bajaao.com if I don't buy their 1-2 year bajaao warranty?
@@thecompanioncube4211 What matters most is the edges of the frets, fret action, intonation and the curve behind the neck. I am more comfortable with the thinner curve as in case of Ibanez. Off line stores like On stage and Biba and Bharat in Delhi are expensive. GSA60 was not available online. I spoke to bajaao guys and bargained with them. The online price was 17500. I got it for around 16500. I had to wait for a month, though it was worth the wait. You wont get GSA60 in off line stores. Mostly GRG170, regular affinity strats, jacksons, schecter etc but Ibanez overall is much more versatile in the less than 20K range
GRG170dx is a good model. I was considering that as well but finally settled for a GRG70 with a locking trem floyd rose. The HSH pattern is very good and expands your choice of genre of music you want to play. Issue comes with the single coil in the centre that sometimes may hinder with your picking. The frets have to be filed and smoothly blunted in all guitars that are made in china or vietnam.
Yes. The Neck is really smooth. The frets are almost well crowned. I think its a 14 inch radius. If the bridge height is well adjusted and the truss rod kept straight, the action becomes as low as 2mm on the 12th fret without any fret buzz
Hi Mr Ajay Dev. I would say its equivalent to Fender Affinity bit a lot better than Fender Buller. All HSS configurations. I changed the neck pick up to the 59s mini humbucker from Seymour Duncan and the solos sound sweet
@@ajaydev4931 In case you are looking for a genuinely good Floating Trem with Locking nut, popularly called as Floyd Rose (which actually its not) go in for a ZR trem system. Its not resting on posts which are drilled in the body but on a hinge, so the movement is really smooth both whille pulling up and during a dive bomb. But these are on high end Ibanez models Prestige S series I think. They are expensive

I have just got the Ibanez S Series last week. Shall review it and compare it with the GSA60
@2:57 ... the product page on bajaao shows in a diagram that in position 4 of pick-up selector the center pick-up pairs with split bridge pick-up
Yes. Position 4 splits the bridge coil. But I personally dont use it too often
Plz give a sound check video on this one.. I'm looking forward to buy this

Confused between GSA 60 and GRG170dx which one is better for intermediate level?
