Thank you for the entertaining and informative content. I am so glad I bought a project in 1999 (for $4000) and restored it in 2011-13 ($40,000) Ive been enjoying it. and I'll never sell it. I always give thumbs up. Hello From Wisconsin
I imagine in the next 15-20 years, these prices are going to drop a bunch on muscle cars. But it is crazy with these prices my bucket list charger is a 70 rt 440 6 pack black and red. Great video.
My grandfather's 1969 jazz purple charger is 512k (on his 3rd engine) miles on it. The last engine he put in was in 09' when i was 17 and i helped him trans and engine swap with a 6.1L hemi replacing the i believe 440 has been restored twice is worth at best 30k. And it is in great condition, but rhe kicker is outside the frame and interior none of it is orginal parts. (Granted he has all the orginal parts kept in a his garage. Just incase some miracle it is a fortune when im his age now) like he always tells never buy a CAR for hopes of it being worth something, because youll most likely be a damn skeleton if it ever does. Buy it to enjoy it and burn the fucking rubbers off the bitch.😂
Dude, I totally agree with your assessment on these cars, they made over 96,000 68 Chargers and General Lee clones are the most overdone car on the planet next to Bandit Trans Ams and Cobra kit cars! The only people who are buying these are clueless millionaires who have more money than Jesus Christ himself!🤣🤣🤣
I hate the General Lee. They are way overdone and do nothing for this body style. 96K 68 Chargers is nothing compared to the over 300K GTO's and Mustangs made then. If you had a 2nd Gen Charger you wanted to sell you probably would not be criticizing a millionaire who would pay $$$ for it. They aren't making any more of these cars and haven't been for fifty years. This body style will still be in demand 100yrs from now. This is one of the most beautiful examples of industrial art ever made.
Anyone who pounds ten tons of bondo in to a car shouldn't be working on a car like this. Whether they are six figures or 0, this is my favorite car. Dukes of Hazard is a show that glorifies stupid hill billies that drive one of the most beautiful cars ever made like a dune buggy. I have taken my 69 Dodge Charger to events with Ferraris, Porsches, Lamborgini's, and other Euro super cars and muscle cars. That car sucks the life out of any car there. It's stunningly beautiful. It stops people on the street.
