@austrailianpainter I'm fine with you correcting that as I knew I spelled it wrong seeing as I forgot how to spell it lol. Also I don't see what you did lol
"The IRA's goal was an all-Ireland democratic socialist republic." " Richard English, a professor at Queen's University Belfast, writes that while the IRA's adherence to socialist goals has varied according to time and place, radical ideas, specifically socialist ones, were a key part of IRA thinking." "Former IRA volunteer Tommy McKearney states that while the IRA's goal was a socialist republic" "the Official IRA and the Irish National Liberation Army, both of which adopted clearly defined Marxist positions." "During the 1980s, the IRA's commitment to socialism became more solidified as IRA prisoners began to engage with works of political and Marxist theory" Prove you know nothing about Ireland with one comment challenge
The original IRA, yes. We'rr talking about the group that became the modern Irish Army. The Provos, bunch of Reds. Good songs, sure, but this is absolutely a Red song.
bruh read a book before posting bs like this. James connolly, bobby sans and the CIRA, even the PIRA hold close ties to a united marxist-leninist Ireland and have since 1916. never forget easter rising.
@@vixen878 The original IRA was Nationalist before MI5 infiltration and division... Every notable figure of the Irish cause, every Easter Rising figurehead were all nationalists. It's well documented. They would spit in disgust at marxist ideologies. They died for Irish freedom, not woke values, authoritarian governance and limits to free speech... If you actually want Ireland to be under the same political systems as China, North Korea, Laos, you should go sort your head out. People like you have never had any real problems, have no children, no community, no property, you are completely oblivious and only latch on to these ideologies as you think they will secure you government handouts.
Proletariats all over the world must unite together. ✌️

The CPI opposed the PIRA's armed campaign and engaged in a lengthy dispute with Sinn Féin over it. Do some research before you post this shit, lad.
