Wow so lucky to find your page, wish you had a bigger following I've been searching for informative like this for so long. Most of the top results on RUclips for hamstring and folding stretches are just bullshit, always showing you how good they are with unrealistic expectations. And I'm a 27 year old athletic male, but this is one of my weaker areas due to years of football and competitive sport. This is the best video I've seen in years thanks so much
Absolutely brilliant and thank you for explaining so eloquently, and so making this tricky manoeuvre possible for most of us. I’m delighted that you told us about our individual skeleton capacity. Understanding what’s involved makes a world of difference. Thank you very much.
I've been looking for tips with this that actually help for a long while. I get really bad disk or sacriatic pain with my powerlift routines and working a 9-5 desk job. I used to use my hallway and spread my feet apart at one side and have my back on the other, then slide in a foam roller between my back and the wall to get the position. I would instantly be pain free after. I'll try your method too
Hi Doug - with practice, I've managed to be able to sit up straight with my legs in front of me. Previously my back would round when I did it. I can also sit up straight with my legs in a V shape, though not for long - i still need practice in this area. However, I am finding your advice about how to modify a forward bend quite useful!
Forward folds soothe the nervous system and encourage introspection. Forward folds tone and stimulate the internal organs. I did a brief video that explains it all in a nutshell
