Now that's what I'm talking about I was waiting for this & it's good you reference the difference influences of each countries style on Gothic architecture. In addition to giving the information on pre & revival movements as well. I agree with your selection for me also there's always an elegance to the buildings. I got a very bad case of Covid and then Long Covid afterwards at the beginning of the pandemic. To pass the time and to keep my brain as active and functional as possible I began a study of Medieval cathedrals and gothic architecture. Four years later I’m still at it. I am in such awe that the architects, masons and artisans who built these glorious monuments to God without the scientific, technological and mathematical knowledge that is considered absolutely indispensable by architects of today! And, unlike many more modern buildings
these ancient buildings continue to stand and be used after several centuries!

What I absolutely love are buildings that are Gothic Style Mixed with Renaissance or Baroque Elements. No matter if they were built at the beginning of the Renaissance, have a long building History that gives it multiple phases, or were built during Historism with mixed Style in mind.
Only truly genius architects can make Styles so different look harmonic!
