Parker shouldve won. for a human rights lawyer that guy was mad snakey too. the last three were so slimy. the people who talk the most or ask the most leading questions in this cut vids end up being the ones voting everyone else out and forming alliances
I think it was actually a pretty smart way of speeding up the process for everyone's benefit -- it both removes one of the three from consideration and gives that 'loser' the authority to pick the winner while ensuring they have no stake in who wins and no ulterior motives about who they choose. There's 8 possible outcomes and only 2 of those are circular (ex: A prefers B who prefers C who prefers A) while the other 6 (A prefers B who prefers A... so C decides) wraps the game up pretty quickly. In the 2 circular outcomes, she wouldn't have any advantage over the other two. It would just essentially be a tie between the three of them until one person is convinced their 'third best option' deserves it more than they and their 'second best option' do and forfeits the win (ex: A prefers B who prefers C who prefers A.... but C is eventually convinced that B deserves it more than either A or C, and so C forfeits to give B the win).

the short haired woman was strategizing from the very beginning, i noticed it immediately when she was nodding her head and screaming “yeah 🥹” at every sentence anyone has said like she’s so understanding 😭😭 all of her speeches were just her tryna be likable so she would win ☠️
and the whole “love you” thing when anyone got voted off drove me up the wall
@@philippa2772riiight, had such a visceral reaction to that
How did the guy who deserved it the most get voted at first 😭
It happens in every one of these
biggest threat :P
Selfish dog eat dog attitude, they want the money but also want to appear good, they fail but getting rid of him first was removing someone who went against what they wanted
That's the strategy, get rid of the one with the best case and now it's who can BS their case the best
The fact he lost first fucking round with literally having the best reason for the money blows my mind Holy shit wow
unbelievable
i think it makes sense bc he did have the best reason and they knew that
This is how every lecture and tutorial as a mature aged student feels. Everyone thinks they're sooo smart/ empaths but don't have the real world experience to practice what they preach correctly. It's giving “I am outraged by food waste ( sorry I don't like crusts on my sandwiches) because people are starving! but I won't give a homeless man a dollar for a slice of pizza coz I'm scared and my mom told me they spend it on drugs”
I'm so confused... how does Jon pay 2 rents but also lives with his parents? If he has a place, why stay with your parents? Especially if you're paying them rent? I'm so lost
I think maybe he’s paying his parents rent / helping them pay rent while staying with them. A lot of times there’s an overlap in rental agreements when you move, so you have to legally pay both. For example, my college lease was till august but my semester got over in April and I needed to move to another city to start a new job in June.
They got rid of Parker because he was the biggest threat to them getting the cash
exactly what I was thinking
The girl with the blonde hair truly got under my skin. She was coming for my boy Parker and all she need is a textbook… idk how a school wouldn’t give a student aid for 1,000 dollar textbook if she really needed the money. Maybe I don’t know enough about finance schools….
Blonde? You color blind or sum?
@@asmaj.h6042 I've seen girls with that color describe it as blond, strawberry blond, red, and light brown and all of them were adamant that they were correct. I stopped arguing a long time ago
Also when they were saying the guy wanting to be a lawyer would be making tons of money no one in the room pointed out how much accountants make (only Cody did)
This just shows how fake people are when there's an incentive
yep
ayo just learned a new word bc of your comment, thanks mate
i like how the comp sci guy called danielle the biggest threat and in the end she was. i also don't get why they all voted comp sci guy out for "being too similar" but then voted parker out when his cause was the most unique (who deserved it)
The producer did Parker dirty! He could’ve skated by in the first round if the producer didn’t mention being late for the shoot.
these specific videos are always an excruciating watch to me. like they are so difficult to get through and without cody's commentary they would just be modern torture
Same, I really hoped that this video would be better than the last one, but I am still raging watching these people make ignorant and selfish decisions lmao
I can't believe they voted out Parker first. That's EVIL.
Right! I can’t believe no one said anything. I would have shamed them so hard if I was there.
Did no one hear what he was gonna do with the money? A trip to Ecuador is not a need. Everyone else had better reasons
@@dallaswright1278A trip to Ecuador to help children… as a broke college student myself, it’s sad to pick yourself over kids

@@dallaswright1278fr because he’d be better off helping his kid instead of other people’s children. Too many people focus on issues on the other side of the world when there are things that need to be taken care of in their mother land
It's been said before, but thank you for being a buffer for these Cut videos, Cody. I don't think I could get through them otherwise. Even when they're entertaining, they can get so uncomfortable lmao.
The button makes me physically ill without Cody's humour and commentary. The very public rejection, having to reject someone by a button, flirting on camera, having private things brought up and pretending to be interested when there's no physical attraction makes my social anxiety sky rocket.
same lol
@@AdamOBrien29I feels this. They make want to crawl out of my skin on their own, but once Cody adds his commentary, I can't get enough of them!
BRO HAD TO PAY TWO RENTS AND ALL SHE HAD TO PAY FOR WAS A BOOK pisses me off man
the one thing i hated about college was that a large number of students were so sheltered and had no concept of real life… parents paying for everything, not having to work nor ever having to work in the past. all of these people remind me of that, they voted off the most deserving person first because he was late…? you can tell they never had jobs or any real responsibilities to understand that the first guy was probably late because he has a kid, a job, a mortgage… all on top of the school and tuition.
I would love to see Cody’s reaction to the strangers decide who wins 1000. It’s genuinely absurd
true
Comments turned off you know it’s a good video lol
I’ve never wanted to punch someone as much as I did to the people in that video
As the girl in the red dress in that video- yes it was 💀
@@Area501stthank you, looking back I felt horrible for 19 year old me! I’m surprised Cody Ko released this video today!
That girl in accounting should have been voted out first on attitude alone.
we should start a GoFundMe for Parker's trip that dude is def the most deserving of the cash
I agree & with the power Cody has and the cut has, that can happen.

the immediate regret of pulling out his wallet and realizing he may actually have a grand just in there and subtly putting it back is hilarious
lol
Lol right

brother flashed a hundred dollar bill not exactly subtle but he slayed it
Wait…so the guy who wants to be a lawyer for social injustices voted out the guy who planned on helping people in social injustices ??
Voting out Parker is actually so criminal
Imagine voting off a guy who has a kid who is picking up extra shifts because he needs to make money who wants to help people first hand in other countries.
My questions hands down would be:
1. what are your parents/guardians combined income
2. credit card debts? Don't wanna give it to someone who is bad with money lol
3. what car do they drive ?
4. most expensive thing they own
saying “I Love Youuuuuu!!!!” and being aggressively ‘compassionate’ after voting someone off who you know needed something more than you is some hard cope goddamn
I like how the dude with the red flannel had a $800-2000 pair of shoes on

They are all so unlikable. Only the first one that got voted out was cool
Chodes, you've literally inspired me to start making music. I'm so proud of how far you've come. Id honestly love to watch a video of you talking about your process and everything. Good work for real!
I wish this game was more “let’s all collectively decide who needs the money the most” and not “be as selfish and self-absorbed as possible to ensure *I* get the money”. watching this is so frustrating but it puts in to perspective how selfish humans are lol

This is exactly why being passive in a morality competition is almost always the best option. Most people are just innately ego-driven and want to win then get upset and make enemies when they lose. Offering to split the money wouldv'e been the most advantageous route in the final 3.

she purposely asked that question about who would you choose to win besides yourself just so that she could pick someone to side with.
