Howd you go with your gcm? I know someone who just bought one with a ute to tow with no mods, bar canopy etc. Pretty much stock ute and it's ball weight overloaded rear axle maximum and they only had 400kg to play with on GCM once they sat on car. They are a bloody heavy for such a small van, my 24foot caravan is only 1800kg where as these Chinese imports are over 2t ATM. Then load them up just with water, jerry's and gas a few clothes and food they blow out any Ute's GCM

Yeah one downfall about it is the weight. Especially for the size we would sit average about 2.6t. But that’s why you got so much in such a small van as well.

Hi and thanks for the vid.
I have A couple of quick questions for you.
How do you secure your van when you drive off to see national parks etc?
Do you use a WITI security system.
What do you use on the tow hitch to prevent the van being towed away?
Keep up the great work .
    Thanks

Thanks for your comment! To make sure the van wouldn’t be towed away we used a cruise master bi lock which worked really well and almost blends in with the van. As for security systems we just made sure everything was locked up and packed away, we were never somewhere that other people weren’t though so we didn’t have any alarm or anything like that set on the caravan☺️
