I was looking to buy this tablet, I make art casually and have been using a trackpad for a long time now... I'm fine with all the problems states here and I think I'm ready for this tablet!
your review is awesome! I have a 22inch XP-Pen Artist 22R Pro and it’s a game changer from my Decos. It’s several times more expensive, but it’s worth every penny IMO. There's just no way to compare the experience of drawing on a tablet without a screen versus one with a screen. Drawing directly on the screen makes the workflow much faster and dynamic, on top of that, it's a lot more fun as well.
Im gonna stick with my Samsung Tab 3 or my Ipad 7th Gen. So far the Samsung Tab 3 that I have is the best drawing tablet ive ever used. Its amazing in the color reproduction, pen sensitivity, no pen charging and palm rejection. It beats my Ipad by a mile. But Ipad has Procreate.
If you’ve gotten a Cintiq, especially the 16”, GET A STAND (preferably adjustable) or an Ergotron Arm. It helps so much, and I’ve been working very vertically ever since and haven’t had back issues! It also helps because traditionally when working with pastel, I work on canvas vertically, so it ends up feeling more natural and like I’m really creating. I feel like all desktop screen tablets need a stand. 🤣
I wish this review was a little more thorough, like show whether or not it senses stylus tilt and stylus rotation. I currently use a Wacom Intuos 5, but I can't get used to not looking at what I'm drawing, the Intuos 5 doesn't have a built-in display, and Wacom's Cintiq models are way outside of my price range. Right now this graphics tablet on sale for $79, so I might have to buy it to test it for myself.
Well, mine will be coming tomorrow. Will have to see how it fares compared to my Huion. That one was ultra-cheap and didn't last long. Also, the pen would go all over the place, which made it a frustration to draw with. I eventually just went back to drawing on paper. Lol
Quick I am a photographer and plan to use this for photo editing and restoration. My main question is not answered by your video. And her it is Installation. Did you need to install all of the downloads and installs as there are at least 12 or so of them. The user manual only mentions to install the main one. How about the others???? John
Dose this have no program on it? Is it only a mirror for a lap top. Do I need to get drawing software on my laptop. What is the point of downloading the program from the website. I just bought it for my daughters birthday she has been asking for a drawing tablet forever and am so confused. Please help!!

I have a cintiq 12wx (2008) with a dark, yellowed, 2008 resolution screen, I've also got a surface pro 2 clone (cube i7 book) with garbage edge parallax, lag, and uneven tracking velocity in random spots. Feel like this would be closer to the 2nd in quality. I honestly just ended up not enjoying digital drawing anymore with the giant quality compromises. :( Gotta talk myself down from spending 70 bucks on this thing because I'm fairly sure it'll have the same fate, looks pretty shiny though... Man, I can't wait till 10 years from now when the current cintiq-s will be selling within my tiny budget.

FYI a tip on Cintiqs : the companion app called "Lazynezumi" has a little-known feature (unrelated to the main line smoothing feature of the app) allowing to completely hide the pen cursor in Photoshop. It sounds like it wouldn't make much of a difference but it really does. I had a love/hate relationship with Cintiqs for years until this feature got added, it makes the whole thing feel much more responsive somehow.

Haven’t tried out the galaxy but I’m not an android guy. Either way excited to do some photoshop this week

Fair enough. I definitely missed those points but the experience was just terrible. I’d stay away.

I have the Gaomon 1161 tablet and I have not had a problem with blender.

You need a computer attached to it. So you can hook up to a laptop or desktop.
