Yes, it was indeed. Boeing 777-300 is an amazing plane with excellent control and precision. Also, there was no wind early in the morning. The hardest part was keeping camera steady. :)
Are you kidding me? Is this 4:41 really the new terminal building? The facade has such a throwback feel of 70s, 80s. Even though the interior is quite at par with many other modern day airports.
St. Devil well that what makes it different from other airports it gives both Modern and traditional touch. To be modern it doesn't need to have towering landmark terminal building. That's why it's called a green field airport for that reason its built with such a design unlike European airports which are crowded and have tall buildings. It's a beautiful airport and if you don't like it than Period.
From Pakistani standards it’s pretty good. Do you remember the old airport. I think New Islamabad Airport is excellent and I think design is pretty good as well. It’s open and very welcoming. I absolutely loved it!
Muslim countries priorities should be building world class universities like US, Japan & Germany not Airports. Dubai with already world class airport is building another mind blowing 80 billion dollars Airport. Turkey is building 12 billion dollars 3rd airport in Istanbul when existing 2 airports in Istanbul are already world class. Btw Islamabad International Airport cost around 1 billion dollars.
I think in future more airlines will fly to ISB and consequently more planes will be parked at any given time. Its just been a month new airport started operations.
