@@annikalindin really? I always feel worse when I throw up. Throwing up gives me a headache, probably from bursting tiny blood vessels or something idk lol...I just hate barfing so much! 😫 I may try it next time though. Thankfully Im not in that state right now.

@@d.m.velasco1885 jeeez i hope you dont have to experience a bad temper with a migraine anymore, and i can relate too i usually get soooo frustrated that i get panic attack especially when im having a migraine on my period!! It suuuucks
I get migraines every other day & they last all day. Nobody understands my pain nor takes me serious. I literally cant stand the way these migraines make me feel
From my experience in analysing migraines, I would say it has something to do with neurological restructuring in the brain. After stress usually any change in routine like sleep at different time, triggers it. It's similar to a sudden sharp pain in the neck, triggered by muscle tensions. A migraine seems to be close to a psychedelic experience of processing information. Psychedelics have helped reduce frequency, again some kind of brain restructuring. Also fighting them doesn't work, accepting works better. Seems like the body is forcing you to stop by disabling you mentally and physically. After the traumatising effects of long enduring pain for 24+ hours you feel like you are happy to be alive and everything seems amazing. I think the best is to listen to your body and reduce stress and tension regularly, drink enough water, do some sport, and then you will have much less.
Yeah, it seems that accepting your fate instead of fighting it is best. It isn't your typical headache that can be fixed with Ibuprofen. I try to stay busy and and eventually I realize I haven't thought about it for a while when the symptoms finally subside. But I sure do lose a lot of sleep when I have one.
My migraines get worse in summer with the sun out all day and lately it's getting even worse. Now my one pupil isn't reacting normally to light during a migraine and is a lot bigger that the other one. My doctor told me to take pain killer but my stomach already hurts from all the medication so I guess I'll just go through it. To everyone with migraines: I wish you all the best!! 💕🍀
Thank you for this I’m a kid diagnosed with migraines. They really effect my performance at school. Currently having one now, and I didn’t realize that there was other symptoms to a migraine. This helped me realized really how often I get them and why I feel nauseous and lose my focus. I do online school which makes it worse so I do my best to use a night shade all day. Thank you for this informational video!!
One thing I’ve noticed that causes my migraines is the drastic weather change. I live in Texas so the wether goes from cold, rainy, humid then sunny up to 100 degrees in just one day. Every time that happens I feel sick with migraines afterwards. I just don’t know how to stop them. Sometimes painkillers work but not always. Ruins my whole day. This video was helpful so I’m going to try those new things out.
Me too, I found that often weather changing from cold to hot or another way around can give me Migraines, when I have headaches, I find that laying down and putting pressure on the spot where there is pain helps a lot and makes my migraine pass bye faster
Thanks for commenting Joseph, really is very painful. Hope the video helps more people become aware of how debilitating they can be. Sending those awesome vibes to you my good sir 😀
I used to get migraine’s quite frequently. I noticed that as soon as I started drinking 2.2 litres of water everyday I haven’t had a migraine in a few months. I only started drinking 2.2 litres of water 2 months ago.
AbrahamThePharmacist no problem I hope it helps some people like it has helped me. It might not work for all people but it probably will as water cures dehydration that’s mainly what a headache or migraine are just a form of dehydration.
@@l.a.picasaI still get confused between a headache and a migraine. Half of the time I get a bad headache and it's then that I know that I am dehydrated but I have had a migraine before as I couldn't lift my head the pain was that serve.
I get migraines regularly but unfortunately they come on very quickly or first thing in the morning when I wake up. I have to force myself to vomit, YAWN excessively and sleep to relieve symptoms. Another frustrating part is that I have to take time off work on short notice and no one seems to understand unless they have migraines. Thanks for the video :)
Yeah exactly, they don't understand they think is just a normal headache that goes away with a pill. Hope you do feel better ..I know that staying away from foods with msg or high levels of sugar helps a lot. Hope it works for you.
I find that I can sometimes flush the migraine out if I catch it early enough by literally drinking absolutely loads of water until you need the loo. If at vomiting stage (for me once every half hour if a severe attack) don't fight it, for me this ensures it will last days not hours. Eating some ice cubes (have to crunch them) fools and cools your stomach into not regurgitating (also works with alcohol poisoning). Sometimes a cold pack and massaging your neck at the base of skull can help. For me bad hydration, stress, lack of sleep, skipping meals, or low blood sugar can be triggers. Hope this helps someone.
Yeah it doesn’t take the pain away for me but it makes the pain a little more manageable if I put cold compress on eyes and one under my neck/base of skull.
I once had a migraine so bad, all I could do was lying on the bathroom floor, crawling to the toilet bowl to throw up. I was living alone at the time far away from any relatives or friends, so I had to call an ambulance.
Im currently watching this with a migraine, I'm at home lying down in bed in the dark 😔 some good tips there, my partner gets worse migraines than me, my father and her father used to get them but luckily enough they both out grew them
Iv been experiencing this for about 2 months now. Nausea, vomiting, eyes feel heavy, fatigue, sleeplessness. My brain just feels so weird and pressured. Feels like waves of tingling or zap sensation all over my head. I Dont feel dizzy but more disoriented like everything is slightly off. I did a CT scan for my head but everything came up normal. Daily nightmares and waking up is very hard. A feeling of unreality kicks in. I don’t feel present at all. Everyday and constant. I just don’t know what to do anymore. Its really impacting my life.
These describe my symptoms exactly. And I have bone loss on the back left side of my head. I dont know if that is causing the migraines or the migraines are causing the bone loss.
@@dannymiller4942 Yeah.. honestly just been fighting every symptom. My doctor prescribed Vertigo medication for me. They’ve kinda helped that disoriented feeling go away but my brain still feels pressured. I can barely hold my head up. I think you should definitely talk to your doctor about that bone loss and migraines or have you done that already?
every time I get migraines, it's so damn bad to the point where I just throw up but honestly throwing up gives so much relief. putting something cold on your eyes and staying away from bright screens/lights help (for me anyway)
I have been dealing with severe migraines for most of my life. I lost my career because of it, and most of my life infact, as i have several attacks per week sometimes. There was a mention of ischemic stroke, thats the scariest part for me. My neurologist warned me about this,as almost every attack i get numbness in my face, hands and sometimes even in my feet. Its the worst part of having to deal with the attacks, not knowing when its something even worse. I have been to hospital for examination several times and tried many medicines throughout the years, but nothing really works. I hope they can find a cure for it in the future, as it can completely dominate your life.
i've often gotten nausia/vomiting with migraines. at the beginning of these symptoms, or when i start having any symptom but haven't even gotten nausious yet, drinking coke or some other carbonated drink with caffene (carbonation helps with nausia and caffene helps constrict blood vessels) helps. also, since phenergraine (sp?), a med used to relieve nausia, is useless when i vomit it right up, my neurologist's prescribed it for me in a topical cream to be applied to my wrists, where the blood vessels are close to the surface of the skin. in this manner, the med's absorbed directly into the blood and, when used at the first migraine symptoms, is very helpful.
had this since I gave birth.. on the earlier years, I used to have it every week..then, after observation, I learned waht triggers it: 1. exposure to sunlight 2. photo sensitivity 3. starving yourself 4. high temperature what I do to prevent it: 1. I always use sunglasses when going out, the darker the better 2. avoid looking directly to lights or the sun 3. cover your head with a jacket or scarf to avoid direct exposure to sunlight 3. eat when you're hungry or before you expose yourself to sunlight 4. for high temperatures, take a bath 5. if you're from a high temperature area, don't go right away to cold areas, the sudden temperature changes triggers it
My mom has chronic migraines and has for 40+ years now. I started to get minor headaches as a kid, but when I was 14, they turned into migraines that left me bedridden most days. I have stomach ulcers as well, so trying to find a medication that works together is difficult. The best method I have against migraines is a heating pad over my forehead and a long nap.
i used to have migraines 2-3 times a week. went on a healthy keto diet because of other health issues and it got rid of all of the migraines. maybe it can help someone else too. life is much better now.
Migraine is not a simple headache it's very painful. I always lock myself in a dark room to lessen the pain, even though I dont have migraine I intended to eat in my dark room. But some people thought that I'm just overreacting they don't know how I feel. 😪
I was positively suprised by this video. =) Usually migraine videos are it's just a headache or something similar, or they give definite answers to what will trigger and help them. I have personally found your symptoms and triggers etc. can all change over time. Currently too much chocolate triggers mine, when it didn't before. A year ago I developed a new "fun" symptom when my vision was impaired and half my face was numb. Didn't have any of those symptoms before so a battery of tests in ER, had to stay the night for observation and i.v medication since all of mine had failed. Nausea as a symptom is a vicious cycle as you don't want to eat but not eating will make the nausea and other symptoms worse. If a cure was found I would be happy.
My migraine starts with these symptoms. 1. my eyes can't focus and the depth sensor is all over the place. When I close my eyes the rave party with a lot of different colors starts (20min). 2. Now I see everything crystal clear, but the headache and nausea begin. Description of the headache: As if someone had grabbed me by the back of my eyes and was pulling and squeezing non-stop all the time. Description of nausea: Until I empty my whole stomach I will be nauseous, I can't drink a sip of water, I immediately vomit, let alone pills. Which is a problem because the third symptom is. 3. I become indescribably thirsty. When I empty my stomach suddenly the migraine subsides and I have a normal headache, which is for all people who have a migraine as if someone gave you morphine. 4. I start sweating. 5. Normal headache and dizziness. 6. I have difficulty breathing I have to lie down on the bed. Tired, sweaty, I fall asleep. (4 to 5 hours). Then 1 to 2 days later, I am sensitive to light if I bend down, sneeze, or turn my head abruptly. Short headache. The reason I know this is because I have migraine once a month every time the same symptoms.
My Neuro told me the best Over the Counter solution is to take 2 Excedrin Migraine pills and a Benedryl before going to lay down for a bit. Hope this helps someone. I am allergic to Acetaminophen so I can’t take this regimen, but hopefully it’ll help someone else. ❤️
mine started last night with stomach pain, then noticed unusual sensitivity to sound. took a perc, woke up with headache took a tab, head still hurts...been sleeping in dark room soaking in tub, nothing helps much. looking at 212 comments...at least im not the only one suffering.
I find that certain smells trigger my migraines... smoke from pecan wood, certain perfumes or colognes... also I've found that if I force myself to yawn by opening my mouth wide (as if I'm yawning) and stretching/flexing that passage way under your ears that connects your ears to your sinuses it provides a TON of relief
Its fot 3 days as i am suffering from.migraine and it cant be treating By any medicines..I just praying as its our religious month..and do pray for my health..I hope.soon doctors can Find the cause and help to get rid of this..Thank you..Tc
Thank you. You provided info that I suspected was true but my health care provider said was not the case. Thanks for helping me confirm my suspicions of a possible relationship between migraines and stroke. Bless you.
The nastiest and scariest migraine symptom I've had to deal with is aphasia. Your ability to process language is impaired for a bit. I thought I was having a stroke the first time it happened. I'm having a nasty migraine rn and I'm sort of struggling to write and spell things rn lol, but that's moreso bc of an ocular migrain
I really appreciate the informative video here. My Wife has debilitating Migraines for about 20 days out of the month. She can't work and really isn't even getting to live life any more because of it. Her causes seem to have something to do with chemicals in her body any time any sort of imbalance is present. At least.. That's the current theory.. I'm just so sad though that alot of guides on migraines warn you when to talk to a doctor about them but no doctor we've gone to or urgent care, or ER visit we have had, None of them want to talk about headaches. They shut it down so fast and say there is no answer and no one knows. They will just push a random OTC thing we have tried before and send us on our way. The closest we have gotten to an answer is the ER put her on some sort of drip system that made her fall asleep, and when she woke up the headache was turned off. Though regular sleep at home is either hard to attain with the migraine or it just plain doesn't work. We have found some weird success lately in that a laxative will clear her migraine after it has fully worked it's way through.. but we can't do that every day and that doesn't lead to a pleasant life either. Now that i've typed all this i'm not really sure if i was asking a question or if i just needed to vent a little.. I appreciate anyone's time reading this.. i just don't know what to do anymore.
I’m so sorry and I hope your wife was able to find some relief since you’ve written this. Has she tried acupuncture? I used to experience migraines about 15 days a month and acupuncture really helped me. Changed my life basically. A good one should help your wife. I haven’t gone in years but I’m starting to get frequent migraines again so I think I will find an acupuncturist in my area. I wish you the best!
Migraine is so painful and uncomfortable, I got migraine since I was in Highschool. Everytime I got migraine, I couldn't do anything except laying in bed, I couldn't handle the Pain and I took paracetamol. Thank you so much for the video, now I understand more about migraine.
I’ve suffered from migraines since I was 9 and it has affected my life in ways I didn’t think it would. I can’t even work because my migraines are so unbearable, they last 4 days at a time and nothing helps them. I hope it gets better because sometimes I wanna die
My docter told me that most people that suffer from migranes are low on Magnesium..so when they start using Magnesium capsules there headaches go away..

I’ve suffering migraines since I was a kid and I’m still suffering now. I also suffer from cluster headaches. My advice to other sufferings is do what you can to ease the symptoms. Also I have a headache diary, this helps me to find common causes to my headaches and or remedies to reduce the suffering. One thing I find is to keep cool and drink plenty of fluids and stay away from caffeine. I also find oxygen helps me when I have my cluster headaches
One thing that I know is that Food can be an issue. I know that MSG and high sugar consumption triggers migraines or headaches to lots of people. Please look carefully at the ingredients on your food bought prepared or at restaurants that may be the issue. If you can it is important to cook your food at home and you will notice the change and improvements of your health and lifestyle. Hope it works , God bless everyone. It definitely worked for someone I know and love dearly. I hope that those sufferers get any help from my advice. As I know exactly what your going through and would loved to see it help someone.
I’m so tired of getting these migraines. My sisters migraines went away after menopause. Mine didn’t. I have flashes of light all the time. Seeing an eye Dr for them. I’m on a preventative, but don’t think it’s working anymore.
When I have migraine what I mostly do is, sit down in my toilet, turn off the lights, and sweat like crazy and meditate (Breathing slowly in and out). To me it helps a lot, but for those who try this I hope it'll feel much better than before
This is great, but I got a headache watching the camera keep shooting about. Really good advice. I get an aura. If I take sumatriptan immediately, it stops the aura within 10-15 minutes, and the headache never materialises. Low barometric pressure usually causes mine. Came on about 10 years ago. Absolute nightmare!
What I have is much more than just a migraine. This is hell on earth. I'm struggling to sit up and type. It's debilitating, nauseous, heavy, insidious, like something or someone is crushing my skull and my chest is hurting too. I get this set of symptoms too often. My GP has not really done anything to help. Nor have I found my own cure. OH please God somebody help me.
I always start to lose my vision/ experience the "aura" before I get a migraine. Tried going to sleep but I couldn't so I just laid awake in a dark room. Was vomitting all day today. One of my top 3 worst migraines for sure. I just want to feel better as its been 6 hours now. Thank god I had today off- but what a shit day to get one.
I have had migraine since I was 11, I am 27 now. I have been on a hunt to find something, anything to help me with my migraines. I am on different medications for them. I take narcotics to help with pain, but that only works for a few hours. Every two months I get nerve blocks in my forehead, temples, and the crown of my neck. I started Botox back in September which it’s helped but I am still suffering. I am losing my mind with these...is there anyone that has had a similar experience? Thank you for the video.
I'm a Canadian mom of 3. Have had a mind blowing migraine for 5 days now. Smoked 3 grams of cannabis yesterday and took excessive amounts of Tylenol and Advil daily and have not had any relief. Aaaaaannnnndddd nobody can figure out why. Have had these migraines for 21 years.
I've had migraines my whole life. Don't bother with the pills. I actually got rid of my last two by chugging cold water. Try drinking a glass every 5-10 minutes for a half hour. I hope you feel better
I recently tried ginger and turmeric powder ( 1/4 tspn ea ) mixed with some watered down juice and it def calmed the intensity of the migraine. Ginger helped with the nausea for a bit too.
After many years of suffering from frequent migraines I haven't found any way to prevent them or successfully treat them. If I'm lucky enough to be home, I take a long warm dark shower, and lay down in a dark, quiet room with a warm compress on my head and try to fall asleep. I usually end up vomiting somewhere in the process but that seems to help.
I’ve had over 30 migraines this summer and I at least had a headache every day. Also I’m 16 and got my first when I was 6/7. After I had 8 in June we decided to see a neurologist and I got nortriptyline to help prevent it and some sumatriptan to take when I get it. I ended up having one almost every other day in July so when I went back in August I upped the amount of preventative I took and got rizatriptan in a high dose. Upping the nortriptyline has been working for now but with school online I know I’m gonna get a ton more because I know too much screen time is one of my triggers. We don’t know of anything else that triggers them for me so I’ll get some every month and it really sucks.
Thank you so much dude. I have had problems with migraines in the past. My parents also know your parents personally and are very good friends. We are the Shirazi family
I have a migraine right now I'm 11 years old and every time I get a migraine I throw up it hurts so bad some tips if you have a migraine I wanna take a warm shower just sit down in the shower and the water come down on your head that's a trick I have developed over the years and it really helps also a soon as you feel the slight hint that you might possibly be getting migraine take some medicine and get in the shower drink lots of water and try to stay out of the sun also do not watch TV ! (As I'm literally watching TV lol) !
I had a sudden and very scary migraine about a week ago now, and ever since, I’ve been feeling quite sick, dizzy, and everything looks unfamiliar although I know where I am. My migraine, at least I think it’s a migraine, also makes me feel like I’m going to faint if I do anything (like working, computer work, papers, reading) which really interrupts my daily life because I am currently attending school everyday. I’ve been feeling off ever since the sudden migraine, and I went to the doctor, but all the doctor said was come back if it gets worse or doesn’t go away, like alright but what am I supposed to do right now while it’s constantly hurting my daily life?
Migranes are caused by lack of magnesium so eat 1 walnut each day. Drink water throughout the day please - and what about your ears anything strange or notice anything unusual? Also do u eat fruit? - it lowers high blood pressure. Apples banana n pears prevent strokes. You could also be allergic with something in your squash drinks- oasis summer fruits causes me to have headaches and eating more than 1 teaspoon of achaar ( pickles) gives me chest pains- check expiry dates most Asian chilli pickles in jars are 6months.
I get them when I’m about to start my cycle and during my cycle! I’m going through one now and it’s the worst! My arm is in pain, my ears hurt and nothing has helped me! Jesus please help me! 😫☹️😥😓
I take sumatriptan and naproxen aurobindo , it works and is takes about 20 minutes to work , only thing is sumatriptan makes me sleepy . Try visiting a chiropractor also !
my worst migraines last days to weeks they’re the worst, especially the symptoms i get very nauseous and sometimes throwing up helps relieve pain for a short amt of time. i also am very sensitive to light. i have blackouts curtains(they help a lot). i’ve had migraines since i was six and have always thrown up repeatedly when i get them. i’ve tried all of the “triptans” such as sumatriptan and after a month or two of being on them they gave me excruciating burning pain in my jaw and temples. i am now taking a shot every month at home and everyday i take propranolol. i used to get 4-5 migraines a week and now get around 10 migraines every month since i’ve had the shot starting december 10th, i’ve been on so many meds and since i’ve just turned 18 my neurologist says my prescription options are much wider and i can start better treatments and prescriptions😁
This is me rn! I’ve had a migraine since Thursday of almost two weeks ago. I had to go to patient first to get a shot which didn’t really help. They prescribed me Sumatriptan and it’s literally not working.. I’ve slept back to back everyday and can barely move around to get my work done. This shit really sucks but hopefully since i’m about to turn 18, i can get some wider options as well
Hi guys hope this helps some people , when I have a migraine I go fo a hot bath drink water then stretch/ crack my neck crack my back on a foam roller meditate then got too bed, I wake up around 8 hours after feeling fresh as a daisy , I try to stay away from medication I’m all for finding natural ways to help cure things like this

Had one yesterday...started with the flashy lights on one side, then the side went dark 😅...immediately went for the pain killers and I agree, getting the pain killers earlier makes all the difference
I have been able to find a noticable amount of relief to my severe migraine by doing a salt water mouth rinse. Take some iodized table salt, and stir it into a cup of warm water, then swish it around your mouth for 30 seconds, spit it out then take another sip, swirl it around and spit. I don't know by which mechanism it works, but it seems to reliably take the sharp edge off of bad migraines. Maybe something to do with constricting the blood vessels in the brain?
Sad I get this. I wanna become a pharmacist but the constant migraines make me think I’ll never be able to get through full time work/ uni without letting others down 😔 I’m literally never a downer too, it’s only now while I’m having a migraine 😣
My migraine story is much different and worse 😭 after rest and relaxation somehow my migraine stops but after doing some physical work like bending over or sudden movement to head my migraine starts again quickly 🥺🥺. I am so fed up and exhusted and growing anxiety 😭
That happens to me too. Plus I have an array of neck issues that also contributes. My neuro apt isn't til November but I'm def gonna ask for botox treatment to see how that can help. Maybe you should too. Feel better
I have 2-3 migraines every month and sometimes I wake up with migraines even though I'm on medication to prevent them. I have crushing eye pain, sweat and feel very sick, dry heave and running the loo. I sip lemon and ginger tea and take sumupritan to stop it but it can take awhile.
I take sumatriptan for migraines. It is key to take it as early as possible. Don’t wait and hope it won’t develop into a full blown migraine because it will. Wash the triptan down with a strong coffee. This makes the difference between having to retreat to the bedroom or being able to continue functioning. If the Triptan fails fails go to bed, put a cold pack on your forehead, apply a hot water bottle to your neck and make sure your feet are warm. The migraine will not go away as long as your feet are cold. Ibuprofen every couple of hours will take the edge off the pain.
@@katelyndefreitas2810 The hot/cold combo works for some reason. It will not alleviate the pain completely, but enough to fall asleep for a couple of hours. I wish they would find a cure (ideally without side effects). I am holding out for the menopause (my mothers migraines disappeared after the menopause), but with my luck I will be menstruating until 85 🙄. All the best and I wish you many migraine free days 😘

Sleep makes mine worse. A lot worse. I have to get up and just stand around. I can’t sit or lay down or it just gets 100x worse. Pain killers do nothing to stop mine. I’d say ibuprofen is the only thing that works sometimes and probably only like 5% of the time and only if I take more than 1200mg. So it’s basically pointless to take anything.
I've had migraines my whole life I've been checked for everything like brain tumours etc nothing was found and most pain killers don't work but what worked for me was CBD gummies it really helps to ease the pain.
I am getting 10+ headaches a day, its been 3 weeks now and its driving me mad. I have been to my doctors 3 times and they really are no help at all, they gave me cocodamol, but that made them worse. I have never had pain like this before, its on the right side of my head, at the front, and it can last from 30 mins to over 3 hours, also their is a sharp pain in the back of my right eye. Only reason i have not phoned an ambulance is because i know the headaches do stop at some point, but seeing as nobody is listening to me, its gonna happen. Im 47 years old and i have never been this depressed, this has changed my life, i cant think straight, im always dizzy and cant stop getting upset over everything, this isnt me!! From midnight last night, i have had 4 really bad headaches, i have been sat on my floor in the dark just hoping it will stop, but when 1 stops, less than 5 mins later, another starts, they get worse the longer they last, until i feel like screaming or just running into a wall to knock myself out. Its now 10 am and i havnt slept a wink, im just waiting for the next headache :(
Same here , im also 47 been having these since 9 years old. Ask your doctor for sumatriptan and naproxen aurobindo, takes about 20 minutes to work . Visit your chiropractor also and get a back and neck scan . Sounds like a pinched nerve witch makes a little headache into something unbearable!!! I hope the best for you , I know exactly how you feel !!! Try also a cold rag on your forehead or a hot shower helps to releive some pain!
So it's been years since I've gotten one just yesterday 😕 funny thing is it only lasted approximately 20 minutes whereas previous ones lasted hours, no nausea, no vomiting. Talk about a fast recovery, super weird but now I have to go back to being careful.
For me, when I forget to drink water for a long period of time I tend to get severe migraines. It’s weird, but I’ve gotten better at remembering that I need to drink water to survive, lol.
I started drinking hot water boiled with Coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and fenugreek seed. Add some himalayas salt to it and drink it early morning. It helps

@ charlie chimp thanks for giva a valuable knowledge
100% factsssss...
+1
@ Charlie Chimp Very well said... Thank you for your insight. All best for all those with migraines. I know how it feels and I empathize.
My migraines get worse in summer with the sun out all day and lately it's getting even worse. Now my one pupil isn't reacting normally to light during a migraine and is a lot bigger that the other one.
Try playing healing prayer utube videos, I just sent you one, some have been pretty healing for me n my family.
Me too, I found that often weather changing from cold to hot or another way around can give me Migraines, when I have headaches, I find that laying down and putting pressure on the spot where there is pain helps a lot and makes my migraine pass bye faster
Agree. I live in Calgary where we also have drastic weather changes and I think it is a major trigger for me.
I feel after tooth ache, migraine is one of the worst pains. Fantastic presentation. Always ask your pharmacist as they are your medication experts 😇

Migraines hurt a whole lot more than tooth ache if it's a bad one, my skull feels like it's imploding and exploding at the same time and I cant see
Will disagree, when I have a tooth ache pain killers work. When I have a migraine nothing works
Absolutely! Just took a cold towel for my face and turned on 2 fans and AC. It helps

AbrahamThePharmacist no problem I hope it helps some people like it has helped me. It might not work for all people but it probably will as water cures dehydration that’s mainly what a headache or migraine are just a form of dehydration.

Another frustrating part is that I have to take time off work on short notice and no one seems to understand unless they have migraines. Thanks for the video :)
Thanks for sharing this and sorry to hear about it.
Yeah exactly, they don't understand they think is just a normal headache that goes away with a pill. Hope you do feel better ..I know that staying away from foods with msg or high levels of sugar helps a lot. Hope it works for you.

i feel soo relieved from knowing that its normal to be sick when you have migraine 😊🤕👏🏻
Same here, i get sick too because of migraines 💔
Sounds like me
When i get a migrain i find putting something cold over me eyes and head can reduce the pain.
Thanks for the tip
Going to try this right now. Thank you for this comment

Yeah it doesn’t take the pain away for me but it makes the pain a little more manageable if I put cold compress on eyes and one under my neck/base of skull.

I had a CT scan in 2016 or 2017 for the skull pain and they said there was nothing wrong on the CT scan and refused to give me an MRI
The only symptom I dont have that you mentioned is vomiting. Just the Nausea
And Insomia. The pain is so bad, sometimes I cant sleep and then I sleep for days to fight the fatigue
@@dannymiller4942 Yeah.. honestly just been fighting every symptom. My doctor prescribed Vertigo medication for me.
I hope they can find a cure for it in the future, as it can completely dominate your life.
i've often gotten nausia/vomiting with migraines. at the beginning of these symptoms, or when i start having any symptom but haven't even gotten nausious yet, drinking coke or some other carbonated drink with caffene (carbonation helps with nausia and caffene helps constrict blood vessels) helps. also, since phenergraine (sp?), a med used to relieve nausia, is useless when i vomit it right up, my neurologist's prescribed it for me in a topical cream to be applied to my wrists, where the blood vessels are close to the surface of the skin. in this manner, the med's absorbed directly into the blood and, when used at the first migraine symptoms, is very helpful.
had this since I gave birth.. on the earlier years, I used to have it every week..then, after observation, I learned waht triggers it:
1. exposure to sunlight
2. photo sensitivity
3. starving yourself
4. high temperature
what I do to prevent it:
1. I always use sunglasses when going out, the darker the better
2. avoid looking directly to lights or the sun
3. cover your head with a jacket or scarf to avoid direct exposure to sunlight
3. eat when you're hungry or before you expose yourself to sunlight
4. for high temperatures, take a bath
5. if you're from a high temperature area, don't go right away to cold areas, the sudden temperature changes triggers it
My mom has chronic migraines and has for 40+ years now. I started to get minor headaches as a kid, but when I was 14, they turned into migraines that left me bedridden most days. I have stomach ulcers as well, so trying to find a medication that works together is difficult. The best method I have against migraines is a heating pad over my forehead and a long nap.
Will a cold pad also work?
That's interesting, cold is definitely better for my head during a migraine
i used to have migraines 2-3 times a week. went on a healthy keto diet because of other health issues and it got rid of all of the migraines. maybe it can help someone else too. life is much better now.

2. Now I see everything crystal clear, but the headache and nausea
begin.
Description of the headache: As if someone had grabbed me by the
back of my eyes and was pulling and squeezing non-stop all the time.
Description of nausea: Until I empty my whole stomach I will be
nauseous, I can't drink a sip of water, I immediately vomit, let alone pills.
6. I have difficulty breathing
I have to lie down on the bed.
Tired, sweaty, I fall asleep. (4 to 5 hours).
Then 1 to 2 days later, I am sensitive to light if I bend down, sneeze, or turn my head abruptly. Short headache.
The reason I know this is because I have migraine once a month every time the same symptoms.
I get 1 2 and 3 4 and 5

My Wife has debilitating Migraines for about 20 days out of the month. She can't work and really isn't even getting to live life any more because of it.
Her causes seem to have something to do with chemicals in her body any time any sort of imbalance is present. At least.. That's the current theory..
I'm just so sad though that alot of guides on migraines warn you when to talk to a doctor about them but no doctor we've gone to or urgent care, or ER visit we have had,
None of them want to talk about headaches.
Eat anti-inflammatory diet.
Hydrate
Know your trigger and avoid it.

One wallnut is enough?

It is the first time that I’m experiencing a migraine and it hurts like hell. Pls have a good solution
Watching this cos I'm on my 5th day with migraine 😩
Had one yesterday...started with the flashy lights on one side, then the side went dark 😅...immediately went for the pain killers and I agree, getting the pain killers earlier makes all the difference
Glad my tips helped
You should try playing healing prayer utube videos, I just sent you a link for one. Some have been very healing for me and my family.
Wow. I'm going to show this video to family and friends you made a great video here. ☺
Awesome! Thank you for sharing!
I hope you get some relief and feel like you can manage school. ❤
Feel better
I've got a migrain right now so this rlly helped me thank you
Glad I could help
I’ve tried something similar. Feet in hot water in the tub and an ice pack on back of my neck.
This hot bottle n ice pack has to be done together or one after the other...plz reply

💫💫💫 great tips Sir 💫
07:05 widened blood vessels in brain 🧠 might be one of reasons of migraine ( blow drying make it worse)
04:00 at start of Migraine go to sleep immediately

05:30 Consider soluble medication, it absorbs quickly
Thanks for commenting and nice summary with time stamps 😀
AbrahamThePharmacist Thank you for creating such amazing content, make a video about Botox treatment for migraine 😘 :)
Everything you just listed 9:12 is what I've been dealing with since I had my first migraine at 11... I'm 21 now and they show up every 1 or 2 years..
Why am I just looking up this stuff I have had migraines my whole life. Well ever since I was 18 months old.
I've had migraines my whole life I've been checked for everything like brain tumours etc nothing was found and most pain killers don't work but what worked for me was CBD gummies it really helps to ease the pain.
I'm having migraines daily for more than 1 month now. Usually one side of my body is weak. What kind of doctor should I consult with? Thank you
I don't even remember when i last took painkillers for migraines. I just let the episode go away on its own. 😢😢😢
Its now 10 am and i havnt slept a wink, im just waiting for the next headache :(
That's really bad,
Same here , im also 47 been having these since 9 years old. Try also a cold rag on your forehead or a hot shower helps to releive some pain!
my neck is so stiff and behind my eye from my forhead down hurts so bad i can’t even look to the side 😩
Literally same
me rn
Me too
Same
Same
So it's been years since I've gotten one just yesterday 😕 funny thing is it only lasted approximately 20 minutes whereas previous ones lasted hours, no nausea, no vomiting. Talk about a fast recovery, super weird but now I have to go back to being careful.
What’s worse is when you’re in school and the teachers don’t understand that it’s hard to concentrate
Hope my video was helpful!
For me, when I forget to drink water for a long period of time I tend to get severe migraines. It’s weird, but I’ve gotten better at remembering that I need to drink water to survive, lol.
Thanks for sharing :)
When you were talking about the additional symptoms and you said one and three people get one or two of them I straight up get all of them
For me the best treatment is asprin lying in a dark room and having asmr play the asmr helps me forget the pain
I started drinking hot water boiled with Coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds and fenugreek seed. Add some himalayas salt to it and drink it early morning. It helps
Hi interesting video! I'm having an awful migraine right now and I've tried everything, but nothing seems to work. I'll see my doctor in 15 days.
