If she wasn't made of patchwork parts before, she sure will be now. There's a certain charm in this process to save her. Be nice to see her go down the track again when this is all over.
Looking good guys. I'll be honest I wasn't to sure about this Idea but your pulling it off. I've seen people do stuff like this but they do it 4 a living. You definitely have some smart and helpful people around you. Have you thought about stepping into a different class like others have? Thats if the class does get to where you can't hang. Thanks guys.
Cj leave the front end white primer white the rust spots it looks good it’s starting to look like the original raggedy lol keep up the hard work I like it
Me and Chris Bailey do windshields everyday and we hate butle tape that's in the older cars. When we cut my glasses out of my coupe it made a mess lol. Advanced has a tool similar to the one we use that u could get pretty cheap to done that btw lol
i use to get them old Rambo knifes to get the saw out of them they was good to saw the windshield out of cars and it help if outside in the sun to warm the seal up
Yep, it sucks that small tire has become NPK cars or true Pro Mod cars with 80,000 in engine and electronics and 100000 rolling tube chassis. You’re a dying breed, a man who can build a car on low cost compared to what’s running in small tire now and give them a run for their money. I wish they would make two different classes for small tire. One built by the owner/ driver in a regular garage no tube chassis allowed and 430 cubic inch and below no super charger allowed. Nitrous or Turbo. Two, pretty much unlimited where it’s at know.
If I remember right you can just get some like piano wire sneaking in one corner and just pulled around the rest. It's just a big gava seal you have to break through
You’re at the crossroads of small tire racing. You have multiple cars and there is multiple classes of small tire racing. Build accordingly to the class it fits in. It’s already hacked up okay. Now is the time to do what is safe for you to do to raggedy Ann. I say tube chassis with stock roof and quarters and that should be easier to do than trying to go back with stock chassis. Like you said, you already have a near perfect stock style chassis. Yes you love nitrous, but you also need a boosted car . Stock style nitrous you can drive on the street and tube chassis boosted for a different class.
You guys got a lot done ! She's starting to look like a car again. And I'm with you on trying to understand and translate rules and instructions. It would really suck to spend a lot of time and money on a chassis, just to have a tech guy say "hey that engine is 1/2" too far back", or wheelbase is too long or too short, or some shit like that, depending on whatever the "rules" are. I'm sure you could do it off the cuff if you wanted to, given all you've done that I've seen. As you said and I've commented before, everyone is getting faster. I can see it just watching on the videos. BUT---Ford power can do it too !! Sorry I can't help with it, but I'm always with you in spirit, although way over here in N.H. !!
Can you yes is it gonna be worth a damn probably not a 1/16 of a inch out of square on a tube chassis is the difference between a racecar and a coat rack
Just take your time and do it right and try for the first race out be Dig or Die in December the race you almost won and probably should have won that will give you almost a two and a half months!
the wost thing that you are doing is the windshield posts are meant to be pealed apart and welded in layers there are like 4 or 5 layers on those posts the way you are doing it is not great but its not a show car its a go fast car the cage means more than the body sheet metal so weld it and get out there and make some crybabies scream
This has to be the dumbest thing I have ever seen anybody do. What is the point to cobble 2 junk bodies together rather than just find one with a lot less repairs needed

Dry ice helps get floor pads out
Keep going cj its racers like you that keeps the dream alive
When you finish the turbo car, you will have a Raggedy Ann and Andy!😂
The progress on Raggedy Ann is looking good!👍🏻
Tim McAmis has a weld together tube chassis kit for the fox body mustangs. He posted a video on it ten days ago.
CJ you are the man buddy can't wait to see Raggedy Ann back
You are one of the hardest worker in racing. Hang in there and keep on grinding.
Thank you.
Dam cj is hard on racecars 😂

Agreed.❤
Just wonder if she'll ever be in the winners circle again one of these days 😮
Man I wish I had your work ethic buddy you definitely put in the work.
keep it up CJ. thanks for the content
Outstanding determination
Also look into the steck seam splitter they have two that work amazing
john is a good dude we used to swap foxbody parts way back when
it's looking good won't be long you'll be back at it
He said he done a few. Haha. And had been doing it for a while.
Next time you have to cut out a windshield, guitar string is how we did it back in the day.
You are correct, did many with guitar string or piano wire the same.😊
@Garyganeu lol! I feel like a complete knob referring to the 90's and early 2000's as "back in the day"
It's a some-a-stang...... Some of this stang, some of that stang, some of that other stang. 🤣
Time to have her looking nice😂
Can’t wait see it hauling 🫏
Keep at it!
Looks like the surgeon has done a great job
You are doing a good job CJ 👍
Raggedy Ann on the road to recovery. 🔥 🔥

You know a boosted Cleveland would make globs of torque and power, the OG of BOSS engines!

Good job bro
Man you all did alot work
I think 🤔 raggedy ann is going to work good and she will have her races that works for her. Small tire needs to have a outlaw class.
U got it 👍 💪

Yeah the money has come and in my opinion I feel it’s going to ruin it for us working class people that could barely do it before.
You will get it together it will just take you sometime to get it done one day at a time is all you can do
If I remember right you can just get some like piano wire sneaking in one corner and just pulled around the rest. It's just a big gava seal you have to break through
I love your hats only thing is I hate a ford .
Watch you mouth 🤭. Jp. Sorry man they are a nice hat though. 🤷🏻♂️
Trick daddy is for sale! Just buy that mustang! And painted it! Lol

Small tires all switching to chassis cars now

Keep on plugging away you’re no stranger to rebuilding just takes time and money and physical help . You’ll be back before you know it.
A guitar string with channel locks on each side sawing back and fourth makes getting the windshield out a breeze fyi
Vice grips**
I have done that before.
It is a money thing, where does folks get the money I don’t understand that
I think 🤔 you could build a chassis car on the ground.
Can you yes is it gonna be worth a damn probably not a 1/16 of a inch out of square on a tube chassis is the difference between a racecar and a coat rack
I hate to say this, but the way small tire and 28 classes are going i would just frame it completely
Would Tim Solders not help you out sir? They seem like good folks idk never met them just on line
Just take your time and do it right and try for the first race out be Dig or Die in December the race you almost won and probably should have won that will give you almost a two and a half months!
Why didn't you put the nitrous car on hold and finish the turbo car?
We went over that in few of the videos
Ok I'll go back and watch @@raggedyannohiosmalltire2329
BIG job you do you Cj ya dont race a car for 30 yrs and not know wat to do thx
your mustang must be a 1979 or 1980the last ford car to have dimmer switch on floor was 1980 fairmont and pinto
CJ what happened to that black big block nova that was winning most races a couple years ago. I believe that guys name was haun or something.
He had some personal things going on he needed to take a break but he will be back at it soon!
@@raggedyannohiosmalltire2329 that was definitely one fast car. I can’t wait to see your car back out I think it will be fine the way you’re doing it.

It’s been done to others cars before, they just don’t have a channel. It cost money and time to do that not everyone has those things
Because she's RAGGEDY ANN! 💔
