Agreed and for some Alpha bordering on Maxis male clothes that are very modern, seems like some asian street wear. GorillaGorillaGorilla, not eveything they do fits my maxis match world but some peices do and some are too good to pass up 😂😂
TwistedCatCC is another one of my favs, they have AMAZING eyelashes that look even more maxis match than Miiko. For Mens stuff, JohnnySimmer is the best hands down. As for build mode, HeyHarrie, Felixandresims, and their combination cc HouseofHarlix are the absolute best. These creators are genuinely a must have for me, I cannot play the game without them anymore.
Adrien Pastel makes tons of male cc that’s classic masculine styles like something out of mad men or American hustle. You just have to get over the whole downloading one piece at a time thing.
Speaking of Harrie and Felixandre - their stuff is literally better and wholesome (every option of items you can possibly need to build a house, like doors and windows for every wall hight and etc.) than any Sims 4 DLC! If not game play there would be no reasons to buy dlc, because modders make stuff for b&b or Cas of better quality than EA itself😂
The good thing for cc is that it is free, and despite the appearance, what the cc creators do are usually nice looking and mordern too, realistic, but sadly the quality is not always there, Ill explain, a lot of the item are filled with tearing prismes (lines that are visible on the objects, that should not be there) compare to what EA does, which never or rarely have those umpolished prismes lines... they are sadly deal breaker to me.
@@Klondike877 That is the question of what cc from which modders you are using. Of course there is some cc of questionable quality - but you have lots of options to choose from to compensate it. For example, during the time i decided to use only cc from modders with history of good quality cc like Felixandre, Harrie, Peacemaker and some others. But, returning to EA, some of their content was of horrible quality - even modders with the worst quality were having better quality than EA sometimes! For example, EA shoes are my personal pain - there's always some problem about heel which is absolutely flat, or about boots which are making legs look twice bigger 😰 The problem is the no matter the quality of some objects, you are still buying this DLC because you want some other objects or gameplay from this DLC! That's what i hate the most! They're selling sets which can't be divided into parts! For example, in growing together the only thing i wanted was gameplay - i don't like or need anything else from this DLC - but i was forced to pay full price for shitty empty american suburbia town and boring cas and build/buy which was coming with gameplay and i can't even turn it off without turning off the gameplay! Oh, and cherry on the top is the fact that gameplay is still broken even after so many time and patches! And not only game play of growing together - lots of others DLC are in the same condition... Nice work, EA 👍

My issue with cc is that every update seems to break it. Since they update all the time, I can't be bothered. That being said, I do have eyelashes. But, you can't wear rings with the eyelashes I have. I just might get the ones you show. They are very nice!
I’ve only ever used one single creator for male cc: Darte77. It’s maxis-matchy enough and looks great in game. I do come from the time where alpha was basically the only cc, though. So I‘m generally not that sensitive about a hint of alpha if it fits the overall theme.
As a black girl, what you said is absolutely true. You do not need Alpha Cc to make black or Afro texture sims. There’s beautiful hairs and CC by creators such as sheabuttyr or simstrouble. I’ve made beautiful sims with both Alpha and Maxis Match CC. Ppl need to stop lying
Just because you think they’re beautiful doesn’t mean everyone black simmer does lol. I prefer alpha and I think it makes it easier to make a sim that looks like me 🤷🏽♀️ That’s not lying. You think mm textured hair is beautiful, that’s great, use it on your sims. That doesn’t mean every black simmer thinks they’re as efficient to use as alpha hairs

As to the "lying" part, I was referring to what Satch said about ppl saying that to him. But I stand by what I said. You don't need Alpha OR MM, to make a beautiful Afro-textured sim. I watch so many ppl play with the base game and a few packs and their sims are gorgeous. At the end of the day, it's just a game and everyone will play and create things as they like.
Another good pair of eyelashes is kijiko, they have big lashes, normal length lashes, brown lashes, downward facing lashes. It’s great for all kinds of sims Edit: they also have the option to be in the skin detail category instead of glasses

I just love these recommendations - I've only been back to the Sims 4 for some months and I have not wanted to download any cc, because I find that it sticks out too much from the regular maxis stuff - and no; I didn't even know about maxis match - but I do now! Thank you so friggin much! Because let's be honest - the maxis stuff is boring, the hairstyles, the clothes... And now my Sims can look good without being too different! Omg - I love these content creators! ❤ And in Simlish - yes! I so agree with you on that too! 💯
i'm actually surprised that nobody has mentioned golyhawhaw and luumia when it comes to male cc here yet, they genuinely have the best body hair, mesh replacements, body presets and skin overlays for male sims out of anyone else i can think of
I've found a lot of male cc I like but kinda like what you said, a lot of it is more 'feminine' or tends to be what a kpop idol would wear (same with the hairs). We need more cc that's just what your casual man wears. How hard is it to make a nice hoodie and sweatpants in maxis match?!
For maxis match male CC I agree with you that there are no good ones. Concerning Alpha CC for male sims only 2 creators come to mind and that's GorillaX and Darte77 they have very nice CC
Love the dog bath, I really wish bathing the animals would’ve been a part of cats and dogs because if you own a dog, depending on what kind of dog you have, the cost and time to take them to the groomers is quite a bit. I know this is probably asking too much, but I also thought they could’ve added like a pet grooming career to kind of go along with the vet. I also think they made certain things about the pets too easy. For example, if you get fleas, they get your carpet, your furniture and you have to flea bomb the house you don’t just get to go to the vet and have them spray your animal and it’s done

I downloaded some eyelashes that are beautiful that are in the skin detail category so you can do piercings glasses or whatever but it does break when you put clothing accessories on sometimes
My favorite CC creators are HeyHarrie and FelixAndre (build sets) and when they Collab it's called House of Harlix. I love everything they do. I also love Sixamcc and Pierisim. I just started getting CAS cc recently so I'm def looking for those lashes! Honestly if EA isn't adding actually good gameplay this year, I'm not buying anything bc CC offers better content. EA/Sims 4 should just hire all the CC creators to fix everything already
Thank you recommending a creator that makes afro textured hairstyles. One of the many problems I have with EA is the lack of afro-textured hair! There's no reason why I have to buy like 3 separate packs for braids. We have 2 afros..TWO AFROS for women and 1 for men and the men one is absolutely ugly. It's upsetting bc why do some of my black sims have to have straight or wavy hair? Now some absolutely can but let's have so realism...not all of us have straight and wavy hair at least ALL the time🤦🏽♀️. And not all of us can download cc, coming from a console player I literally have to buy any packs with afro-textured hair bc there's barely any to choose from.
Great recommendations! I personally got introduced to alpha from Claire Siobhan’s videos, her style is very pretty to me and now I can’t stand “clay” hair 😂 but I still use lots of maxis stuff, specially B&B because I can’t stand crappy alpha in the world.
PLEASE, if you need makeup that is not for clowns (like the one that is on the game), crypticsims its gonna change your game forever! its literally change the game and putting makeup on your sims its extremely easy
i use those same eyelashes but in skin details. and it's so much easier not clicking thru every category. they clash with some accessories though, so i just don't use the accessories if they clash.
What is it about masculine content? Maxis doesn't want to make it, the modders don't want to make it either lmao, the number of lesbian couples and 'Female roomies' I've made because it's so much easier to make them look good in the game 😂
You know the original maker of 3D eyelashes makes them in skin details and so does miiko. So it's not because they're 3D that they have to be in glasses. They also make them for skin details therefore you don't have to apply them with every outfit which is tedious
Honestly, Golyhawhaw is my favorite when it comes to Male CC. Very masculine cc and cas stuff and even mesh addons or replacers for the male body. He even has slider mods like for a thicker neck, bigger hands, or feet, because dudes in Sims 4 have pencil necks even when they're maxed out in muscles. He also has a few presets if you wanna look like a certain character like Chris Redfield from Resident Evil or even a celebrity lol like Chris Evans. Best part is it's all Maxis Match lol. Though his mods aren't in "packs" but are downloaded as individual cc. I personally don't care about that lol since I reorganize my own cc and mods anyway with categorized folders instead of "packs".
My personal faves are - Pierism, Felixandre, HeyHarrie, SixamCC, CharleyPancakes. For CC - Rusty, Serenity, Tryllke, Simstrouble, Okruee, Johnnysims, Daret77
Love cc in general; I'm completely obsessed with both alpha & maxis match. I just can't do alpha hair because I feel like it doesn't match the game but it's gorgeous. I adore alpha accessories. Maxis accessories are way too cartoonish for me.
Im new to p.c and my fav mod is whicked whims and killing mod,i just adds so much more relationships options and lets u set attractive attributes.i think most people use it just for sex but then realize it adds more to game than just thay

There are so many super talented CC creators! But ngl, Felixandre is definitely in the top 3 for me because his releases are sooo versatile. He's also quite an integral part of the community because of his original meshes. Just an amazing creator all around.
@@Rosula_D he and Harriecc are known to be very rude to simmers in their replies and they even block people, when someone criticize them ig. for recycled content or for veeery long early access or when someone literally ASKS when sth is gonna be released. He paywalls his stuff as well which is breaking the EA rules and is in fact scummy. He is creating the cc just for the money and is not in the community and it shows. We should not support or promote such awful people and get their stuff for free when needed 😓

If you want some good male cc, the Blue Collar Boys collection by softerhaze is really good and it's one of my faves. Clumsy Alien is also good though most of it is very gender neutral or androgynous
Simsontherope is actually good for male cc and he also make good looking townies, to upload as household, so you can populate your world with these sims. Luumia for bodyhair and Igor Sims for maxis match beards.
@@skywalker7997 I do not use mod. I tried some in the past just for fun but thats it, same as CC, I know where they are on the internet, test them etc... but I am vanilla player. Now there used to be NPC Control mod that would allow this I believe and MCCC. I do not like MCCC because it does too much stuff and a lot of what I wanted from that mod does not work anymore or if ever, despite trying different things, for removing alien babies sent back to home world... but I never had the chance to make it work. Also, the deadpool logo, I dont like it for the sims 4... I dont know how to explain it, its like if it does not belong there and it bothers me more than the good I would make out of this mod to be honest... I prefer using cheats and standalone mods made only to resolve one thing or to do one single things, so I can control whats going on. MCCC by default will do stuff you might not want and want to tune appropriately, and because of that, just like WW, I do not keep these mod for long in my game. I also tried MCCC to delete objects off lot, like it was supposed to work, but never had the option or a clue to make it happen... its probably broken? Even Wicked Whims can do it or other standalone mods... so I usually install those mods, remove the objects stuck everywhere, save and uninstall them right after. I believe you can stop the game from generating new townies and add townies from the gallery with MCCC, but I saw somewhere, someone saying it does not work anymore... or so. I suggest you give it a try, but really, you only need to save the households to your librairie and add them one at a time...
Honestly, I prefer maxis matchy cc as well and cc that comes in packs/sets as well. Whenever I see people making these very realistic sims, I just think about how jarring it is to have their sim interact with a townie. The sims 4 is very much a game that looks like a cartoon, so having realistic elements in the game looks weird and out of place (no shame to alpha lovers though) unless you make everything else look realistic as well, but it takes a lot of time to make every sim and/or lot look realistic and I personally don't have the patience to do that. Which leads into why I like sets of cc. I don't enjoy looking through individual cc items to find ones that I like nor do I have the patience, so I just prefer downloading sets of cc that I would like to have in my game.
I like the look of alpha cc on a whole alpha cc sim but I feel like it stands out too much in the game to the point where you feel like you need to turn all the other sims into alpha cc too and I personally have no time for that 😆I promise you though there are some great cc that are individual. It's like digital shopping lol. I put on my jams and just go to town "shopping" cc 😆 (Btw, the gasoline collection is available now lol) Golyhawhaw makes amazing cc for male sims. I love his facial hair for men and the non-default eyes he has (he is sort of part of the WW cc but it's not over the top with his patreon). You're just not finding the right creators of male cc lol. There is plenty of it out there, I promise
the cc creators that lock their cc behind a paywall annoys me so much like it against EA s policy so many creators just ignore it and EA wont do anything like what the point of making it a policy if you wont enforce it LOL

Nucrest is a good CC creator for men clothes, there's a lot of masculine clothing. Johnny Sims is the best for CC hair. They both do packs/sets.
I download from both of them and their content is so good. EA men's clothes are too ridiculous sometimes 😭

Same! So I just use curseforge so that I don't have to update all of my mods. But cc doesn't need curseforge.

Kijiko has eyelashes that are skin details, they are very good, i use them always i just cannot bear having sims without them 😅
do they glitch with piercings or glasses? i used to have them back in like 2018 but i don't remember

Actually there is a functional landline phone mod, it lets you call and chat with other sims cause it's a landline phone not a cell phone

I've found a lot of male cc I like but kinda like what you said, a lot of it is more 'feminine' or tends to be what a kpop idol would wear (same with the hairs). We need more cc that's just what your casual man wears. How hard is it to make a nice hoodie and sweatpants in maxis match?!
You should look at creators such as Nucrest, Johnny Sims and Adrienpastel. And GreenLlamas too, they all make really good male cc

For maxis match male CC I agree with you that there are no good ones. Concerning Alpha CC for male sims only 2 creators come to mind and that's GorillaX and Darte77 they have very nice CC

For male CC, I almost exclusively use rusty-cc. Also, I tend to use a lot of cc add-ons, which really add a lot to every pack.

Love the dog bath, I really wish bathing the animals would’ve been a part of cats and dogs because if you own a dog, depending on what kind of dog you have, the cost and time to take them to the groomers is quite a bit. I know this is probably asking too much, but I also thought they could’ve added like a pet grooming career to kind of go along with the vet. I also think they made certain things about the pets too easy. For example, if you get fleas, they get your carpet, your furniture and you have to flea bomb the house you don’t just get to go to the vet and have them spray your animal and it’s done

And for build and buy i highly reccomend Awingedllama, CharlyPancakes, Illogicalsimmer, Myshunosun, Peacemaker (they have also few brilliant mens clothes), Pierisim, 876simmer and Tuds. Most of them have also packs so enjoy :D

I downloaded some eyelashes that are beautiful that are in the skin detail category so you can do piercings glasses or whatever but it does break when you put clothing accessories on sometimes
My favorite CC creators are HeyHarrie and FelixAndre (build sets) and when they Collab it's called House of Harlix. I love everything they do. I also love Sixamcc and Pierisim. I just started getting CAS cc recently so I'm def looking for those lashes! Honestly if EA isn't adding actually good gameplay this year, I'm not buying anything bc CC offers better content. EA/Sims 4 should just hire all the CC creators to fix everything already
Thank you recommending a creator that makes afro textured hairstyles. One of the many problems I have with EA is the lack of afro-textured hair! There's no reason why I have to buy like 3 separate packs for braids. We have 2 afros..TWO AFROS for women and 1 for men and the men one is absolutely ugly. It's upsetting bc why do some of my black sims have to have straight or wavy hair? Now some absolutely can but let's have so realism...not all of us have straight and wavy hair at least ALL the time🤦🏽♀️. And not all of us can download cc, coming from a console player I literally have to buy any packs with afro-textured hair bc there's barely any to choose from.
I strongly recommend you check out Sheabuttyr, they specialise in Afro-texture hairs and they have so many styles of afros/braids/locs/twists etc

Great recommendations! I personally got introduced to alpha from Claire Siobhan’s videos, her style is very pretty to me and now I can’t stand “clay” hair 😂 but I still use lots of maxis stuff, specially B&B because I can’t stand crappy alpha in the world.

PLEASE, if you need makeup that is not for clowns (like the one that is on the game), crypticsims its gonna change your game forever! its literally change the game and putting makeup on your sims its extremely easy

i use those same eyelashes but in skin details. and it's so much easier not clicking thru every category. they clash with some accessories though, so i just don't use the accessories if they clash.

What is it about masculine content? Maxis doesn't want to make it, the modders don't want to make it either lmao, the number of lesbian couples and 'Female roomies' I've made because it's so much easier to make them look good in the game 😂

You know the original maker of 3D eyelashes makes them in skin details and so does miiko. So it's not because they're 3D that they have to be in glasses. They also make them for skin details therefore you don't have to apply them with every outfit which is tedious
Honestly, Golyhawhaw is my favorite when it comes to Male CC. Very masculine cc and cas stuff and even mesh addons or replacers for the male body. He even has slider mods like for a thicker neck, bigger hands, or feet, because dudes in Sims 4 have pencil necks even when they're maxed out in muscles. He also has a few presets if you wanna look like a certain character like Chris Redfield from Resident Evil or even a celebrity lol like Chris Evans. Best part is it's all Maxis Match lol. Though his mods aren't in "packs" but are downloaded as individual cc. I personally don't care about that lol since I reorganize my own cc and mods anyway with categorized folders instead of "packs".
My personal faves are - Pierism, Felixandre, HeyHarrie, SixamCC, CharleyPancakes.
For CC - Rusty, Serenity, Tryllke, Simstrouble, Okruee, Johnnysims, Daret77

Love cc in general; I'm completely obsessed with both alpha & maxis match. I just can't do alpha hair because I feel like it doesn't match the game but it's gorgeous. I adore alpha accessories. Maxis accessories are way too cartoonish for me.

There are so many super talented CC creators! But ngl, Felixandre is definitely in the top 3 for me because his releases are sooo versatile. He's also quite an integral part of the community because of his original meshes. Just an amazing creator all around.

@@Rosula_D he and Harriecc are known to be very rude to simmers in their replies and they even block people, when someone criticize them ig. for recycled content or for veeery long early access or when someone literally ASKS when sth is gonna be released. He paywalls his stuff as well which is breaking the EA rules and is in fact scummy. He is creating the cc just for the money and is not in the community and it shows. We should not support or promote such awful people and get their stuff for free when needed 😓

If you want some good male cc, the Blue Collar Boys collection by softerhaze is really good and it's one of my faves. Clumsy Alien is also good though most of it is very gender neutral or androgynous
Simsontherope is actually good for male cc and he also make good looking townies, to upload as household, so you can populate your world with these sims. Luumia for bodyhair and Igor Sims for maxis match beards.

@@skywalker7997 I do not use mod. I tried some in the past just for fun but thats it, same as CC, I know where they are on the internet, test them etc... but I am vanilla player.
Now there used to be NPC Control mod that would allow this I believe and MCCC. I do not like MCCC because it does too much stuff and a lot of what I wanted from that mod does not work anymore or if ever, despite trying different things, for removing alien babies sent back to home world... but I never had the chance to make it work. Also, the deadpool logo, I dont like it for the sims 4... I dont know how to explain it, its like if it does not belong there and it bothers me more than the good I would make out of this mod to be honest... I prefer using cheats and standalone mods made only to resolve one thing or to do one single things, so I can control whats going on. MCCC by default will do stuff you might not want and want to tune appropriately, and because of that, just like WW, I do not keep these mod for long in my game. I also tried MCCC to delete objects off lot, like it was supposed to work, but never had the option or a clue to make it happen... its probably broken? Even Wicked Whims can do it or other standalone mods... so I usually install those mods, remove the objects stuck everywhere, save and uninstall them right after.
I believe you can stop the game from generating new townies and add townies from the gallery with MCCC, but I saw somewhere, someone saying it does not work anymore... or so. I suggest you give it a try, but really, you only need to save the households to your librairie and add them one at a time...

Honestly, I prefer maxis matchy cc as well and cc that comes in packs/sets as well. Whenever I see people making these very realistic sims, I just think about how jarring it is to have their sim interact with a townie. The sims 4 is very much a game that looks like a cartoon, so having realistic elements in the game looks weird and out of place (no shame to alpha lovers though) unless you make everything else look realistic as well, but it takes a lot of time to make every sim and/or lot look realistic and I personally don't have the patience to do that. Which leads into why I like sets of cc. I don't enjoy looking through individual cc items to find ones that I like nor do I have the patience, so I just prefer downloading sets of cc that I would like to have in my game.

I like the look of alpha cc on a whole alpha cc sim but I feel like it stands out too much in the game to the point where you feel like you need to turn all the other sims into alpha cc too and I personally have no time for that 😆I promise you though there are some great cc that are individual. It's like digital shopping lol. I put on my jams and just go to town "shopping" cc 😆 (Btw, the gasoline collection is available now lol) Golyhawhaw makes amazing cc for male sims. I love his facial hair for men and the non-default eyes he has (he is sort of part of the WW cc but it's not over the top with his patreon). You're just not finding the right creators of male cc lol. There is plenty of it out there, I promise
the cc creators that lock their cc behind a paywall annoys me so much like it against EA s policy so many creators just ignore it and EA wont do anything like what the point of making it a policy if you wont enforce it LOL
