Yup, for a one simple reason - Social Engineering. Usyk has built his legacy purely on boxing skill wheres names as Chisora, AJ, Fury, Bellew, Briedis, Gasimov and etc. they are "Social and general media loud", with each of them holding 1 attribute over Usyk (Fury - Size; AJ - Explosiveness; Bellew - Champion; Gasimov - Power and etc) + loud mouth and general public are socially engineered to back the talkers. It's an art of convincing people, zombies.

Respect to you for always keeping it objective and remaining unbiased. Even as a Fury fan you admit that Usyk beat him twice and that he's no doubt a generational great. There are a lot of people out there claiming robbery who clearly watched the fight with their hearts and not with their eyes. The hard truth is that Usyk was the superior technical fighter. He was a genius when it came to movement and is arguably the greatest of this generation. He remained unshaken like a rock amidst the media frenzy, which, as we now know, many got wrong - including some former champions who mistakenly believed that aggression (and filthy language) equals power. I am confident that Usyk will go down in history as one of the greatest of all (if not the greatest), proving that size, weight, and talk don't matter, but technique, focus, and consistency do.
Many congratulations to Usyk for this masterclass and the way he conducts himself with grace and professionalism. Let this be an object lesson for all future boxers out there.

I’ve seen Roy Jones, Mayweather, Pac Man had some unbelievable fights in his prime but Usyk is 220 and a big guy and he’s fighting super heavy weights. Always out weighed by 20 pounds. I give Fury credit he took these left hands and just stayed slightly out of knockout range. Usyk had to work hard and reach more to touch Fury’s chin.

Before the fight I thought Usyk would take it based on his previous fight m.o. His conditioning is outstanding and his ability to hit and not get hit is second to none. What is consistent with Usyk is his stepping up the intensity & pressure in the middle to later rounds, putting winning rounds together leaving his opponent to get a knockout to win. Which as we’ve witnessed, ain’t gonna happen. Fury gave a good account of himself against a boxer who must be regarded as one of the very best in any era.

Many fans were swept away by the biased coverage of the commentators and ex British boxers who scored the fight 114-114.
As with AJ, a big traditional heavyweight like Fury will not outwork or outbox Usyk over 12 rounds.
Their best chance is to stop him in the first half of the fight, as they will gas out in the 2nd half where Usyk comes into his own.
It is heartening to hear someone give an honest account of last nights fight and I applaud you for offering an unbiased view of what happened.
Although I am not a Fury fan, as his antics and his entourages behaviour has left a bad taste in the mouth at times.
There is also the Nandrolone episode, as well as glove tampering etc.
That said, my opinion of Fury as a boxer who could become a great fighter, was when he fought the dangerous Kevin Johnson, and he followed his corners advice to the letter for 12 rounds. It really impressed me at the time, and his rise through the ranks afterwards did not come as a surprise.

Usyk indeed is the best of this era imo. About this specific fight; the deserved winner. He landed more, was more efficient, more elegant, more respectful, more offensive, more damaging strikes to the head, smarter, more ring control all while being the smaller fighter, lighter fighter and with a reach disadvantage. But one note; Being the GOAT of an era is a weird statement isnt it? Being the GOAT means being the Greatest of all time😂 so of all era’s. But people like to throw around the word whenever they can.

116 to 112 on all scorecards you can't argue it really! Maybe a round different. The fight was competitive enough that they could have gave it him without it being the worst decision ever. But it would have been a bad call. But considering Turki and all the promoters wanted a rematch I'm very pleased the scoring was on point

Up until Rd 7 was for Fury mostly about covering his face and preventing Usyk from sudden punches that could result in KO. Very rare times when he actually was able to hit Usyk’s face or head. Clearly better fighting genes visible in the Ukrainian, better focus. Older but much lighter and still faster on his feet. Well deserved win.

Usyk is a master art of boxing ,it shows that boxing doesn't always mean attractive knockouts.
The quickness of Usyk is just class.
Fury still has so much in he's tank , he needs to enjoy Christmas and look at so many positives, but I think we all have to admire how good Usyk truly is .

Easy day at the office for Usyk.
Specially Brits have deluded into an illusion that "Big, slow, low ring IQ, often obese, clumsy, predictable and at most - average skilled men" really are "GOATS" in heavyweight.
Usyk picked them all with with astonishing ease. He had much more demanding fights against fit and skilled men in cruiserweight.

This was a good fight from bell to bell. I scored the fight the same as you did. 4F, 7U, 1 Even. Both fighters fought well.
After watching Fury post-fight behavior, I'm even more concerned of him having CTE. I hope that Tyson Fury retires and begins a dominant role as a boxing commentator. As is, Tyson Fury is made for the media life. I hope that he does not have too many more fights that his speech begins to falter. That would be an expensive shame.

I think Daniel Dubois is the last fight for Usyk. It only makes sense, it is his only controversial win and he has the last heavyweight belt.

Very honest opinion I have it to Fury but agree both fighters probably only had 1 dominant round each! I felt Usyk in the early rounds wasn't getting much success a lot of shots hitting gloves and arms I problem I think Fury had was Usyk finished majority of rounds strongly. I'm not annoyed Usyk got the win but I am annoyed in the manor it was scored.

I don’t think it was a robbery. But I do think Fury won. He landed the bigger shots, got the bigger reactions, and took the sting out of most of Usyk’s most effective shots by rolling with them.
But I’m not upset. It was a great fight, super competitive the entire time. Fury is genuinely fantastic and he won me over with that performance

  • @frankjaeger393

Tyson Fury is still a great for me, the trilogy with Wilder was legendary and Wilder was in his Prime and most dangerous man in boxing, Fury made easy work of a legit contender in Whyte, performed valiantly in the Usyk fights, the Klitschko fight if I'm honest I didn't think Fury did enough to win the titles from Klitschko thought Klitschko won that. But in all Fury has been great hope he continues.

While I was hopeful about his trainer, I have stated for the longest time that Sugar Hill is all wrong for Tyson Fury. Fury lacked the specific footwork, tactics, technique, and skillset needed to defeat someone like Usyk.
No one will ever outbox Usyk. However no one should ever be too simplistic in fighting Usyk. Someone like Fury still needs a mildly diverse strategy in order to defeat this southpaw. More importantly, Fury showed no aggressiveness in the early and mid-rounds. He should have actively pursued Usyk and he did not.

You are good. 9 : 3 for Usyk is real score. Big belly is fantastic target and Usyk loved it. Judges had ONLY ONE JOB. To count. And Usyk gave them that. He allways does. He is genious. He knows that boxing is about make points and do everything in his power to make shots on the body, anywhere and move constantly to not be hited. He doesn't care about power of shots, but numbers. Condition is ALLWAYS on his side. What a great teacher.

Will be interesting to see if they both continue or be smart and retire.
It would have been good if Fury had accepted the result instead of the narrative that he can't be beaten.
