Even when comparing to the modern day edits the visuals don’t come close to the quality Hilzu can produce. Now that I think about it if Hilzu were to take in some of the modern day editing styles and combine it with his I think I would die of sensory overload. There's also a lot of manga that he can do like My Dress Up Darling would be gorgeous to see or Komi-san Can't Communicate, ANYTHING.

it is very difficult and time consuming doing this stuff. he most likely uses davinci resolve. there is many elements such as keyframes, fusion effects, syncing of said effects to the beat which requires laborious keyframes all over the place.. this probably took him a couple days to do. i hope this relieves you somewhat to know lol

I recently started getting into MMVs because they're simple and showcase the power of slow edm songs. The infamous U got That was a masterpiece that (seems to me) spawned a breath of fresh creators. And then I thought it couldn't get any better due to the nature of simplicity. But I was sorely wrong about that. The MMV with the song "All the things she said" is a masterpiece that proves that anyone can be as good as Pantsu Shot. This one proves that anyone can be better than Pantsu Shot. Not throwing any shade at Pantsu Shot or anything, but using blender to push the limits of what MMVs can be... that's seriously impressive.
