I was born and grew up in Toronto, and during the 60s and 70s characters like Bob and Doug were real, except we were ten times hosier than them, which is what made them so popular, we identified with them, and laughed at ourselves, they were cool!! and so were we!!! Hockey, beer, music and chicks, oh yeah and burping contests.

Grew up in Edmonton and watched SCTV as a kid. It’s changed quite a bit since I lived there though. And you are spot on about Canadians! I laughed so hard at that. I was watching some footage from the big tornado we had in Edmonton in 1987 recently, the people who were filming it were like „Well, it‘s coming closer now“. Completely calm about this huge thing bearing down on them 😂

Thank you for sharing that information with us! People really love the cast of sctv and care about them. Its not easy doing anything in life and to get a actor and comedian job is a great task. Its even a big deal just to get a ride back and fourth to the studios and memorize your line and get cleaned up and dressed. I think all their hard work paid off and when sctv actors show up for fans they are there to make everyone look good in the town. Thanks sctv!

Trade for Jack Eichel, him and Nugent-Hopkins on a 2nd line can get the Oilers into a Stanley Cup Final.
D Ethan Bear, Wingers Zack Kassian & Jesse Puljujarvi to Buffalo for their Captain and maybe even get a 2021 2nd or 3rd Rounder thrown in, the Oilers could use it.

The Canadian accents. If, we ever meet you have to redo the Canadian accents, so you can hear my loud Puerto Rican laugh 😂. I am cracking up listening to listen!!!!!
