I ordered $50 worth of items and for a first time user I had a coupon for $25 off $50. So I paid like $27 all together.
I got my son a lightsaber for Christmas and it ended up being much better than I could have ever expected it had 7 different light colors and sound effects when you hit something. Ordered a Bennie that was great quality surprisingly a belt that was like $2 but works very good. A cap for my daughter with cat ears and goggles built in, she loves it (my only complaint is it says high fashion on the front) and a couple other items that were a good deal.
My order arrived a day late and they gave me a $5 credit that I used to buy an extra large hoodie for $10 after the discount and it fits and feels better than a $40 one I bought. I'll definitely be using them again. The price fluctuations kind of suck but still a good deal would recommend.

@@nickt2559 Temu uses the exact same manufacturers and factories as the stuff you’re buying from a supermarket or big store like Macy’s or Walmart or whatever. They reason that temu is so cheap is that it’s direct manufacturer to consumer products instead of being sold to a middle person first. While I agree that it’s probably bad working conditions, it is absolutely no worse than the usual stores you’d buy the exact same products from. You’re just saving money because the owners of the stores aren’t taking a big cut. Shein on the other hand, I have no idea. The "Game Boy" is an NES Emulator. NES games did not have any way to save scores naturally. In later years batteries were added to carts to allow game saves, but out of the 678 released in the US, only 58 had the ability to save a game. And while most software Emulators have a "save state" feature, the ones used in device like this are very much the most basic code needed to run a NES rom file.

    • @monhi64
      @monhi64 3 месяца назад

Wouldn’t you think a game that claims it has a high-score leaderboard be one of the games that was designed to save stuff? Honestly the shitty emulator devices always have issues with saving regardless of whether the game was coded to save anything, whether that’s software or hardware cheapness I’m not sure. But I’d take it as a win that it’s even running the games correctly and the games aren’t knockoffs. Lots of them will have shit like super Mario 5 which isn’t even a Mario game that exists and you’ll open it and it’ll be a random game where they just swapped out Mario to be the main character sprite 😭

Just to warn you, the emulation quality on this system seems to be somewhat poor*. Also, these "X in 1" systems almost never truly have the number they have. What they usually do is include some recognizable games, and then they put in hacks/palette swaps of those same games (ex. You get a hacked game called "Prehistoric Mario" that is just a Flintstones game with Fred Flintstone's sprite replaced with Mario)
*You can notice the console dropping frames on the Mario ROM, and these cheap X in 1 consoles often have issues with input latency.
If you want more info, just look up some gameplay videos of other X hundred/thousand games in 1 cartridges/consoles, since they tend to all use a similar code base.
Just want you to be forewarned, and have this info up front.

The "game boy" isn't a perfectly legal product, it's in a gray area. The game companies wouldn't go after you for buying typically. The games are taken from illegal download rom sites and sometimes homebrew rom hacks to make an special game that a publisher would never make. The latter isn't illegal but it's pretty uncool that someone's homemade game is taken for profit to just pad out the game count. It's more likely the handheld console he has here has maybe 100 actual games and is padded out with slightly different looking but the same games. The funny thing is that this thing has an easy to source lithium battery when it ever does die. It's an standard Nokia phone battery!
I would recommend reading reviews before you buy one as that issue with not being able to save would upset any serious gamer who would want to come back to a game later. Temu or Amazon may have a different and better model. This one shown is an common cheap Chinese handheld console. Buttons aren't the best but it's made to an cost.

@@MCraft-pt9nf That would be down to the emulator because I've used roms in the emulator playing SNES games before and could save in-game. I think the emulator just made save files. But of course this console is so low budget to think of adding a little extra storage chip inside for saves. Wouldn't take very much for these old games.

The weekly pill sorter was broken in two corners and way way larger than I need or thought it would be. It didn't do well in the shipping bag that everything came in. The thing he forgot is that most likely those glasses do not block UV rays. There have been some research studies done that showed that most knockoff glasses do not block UV rays and because of that some people have serious suffersd problems. One lady who went to the beach a lot ended up getting eye cancer and losing her eye. Her doctor said that if she had been wearing glasses that blocked UV rays she wouldn't have lost her eye. With the ozone thinning faster than Donald's hair it's very important to get sunglasses that blocks UV.

@@Iamonepercent Haha. That's some great satire. I guess you know better than the thousands of real scientists who have actual proof that greenhouse gases are continuing to rise at an alarming rate. What you fail to grasp is that even if you repair the ozone layer it will still naturally allow UV rays to pass through it as it always has. Since you have no clue how anything works I'll explain it in a way that even a 5yo can understand. When you wear sunglasses your pupils dilate to compensate for the reduced amount of sunlight entering the eye. When that happens your eyes take in damaging amounts of UV rays. If you have sunglasses that filter out(or block) the UV rays then it's not a problem. Cheap glasses let the UV rays right into your eyes and damage them. As for the ozone, what's making things worse is the thawing of the artic permafrost that's allowing massive amounts of natural gas to escape into the atmosphere. Those pockets of natural gas do 20x more damage than most other common forms of greenhouse emissions(ie exhaust from a combustion engine). There are lakes in the artic that look like giant jacuzzis due to all the gas that's bubbling up through the water. Even in winter a hole cut through the ice and into the water below will produce a constant flow of gas that can be lit like a torch. That's because we are now and have been for some time, past the tipping point. Stop watching Tucker Carlson and wake up.

The dress was well sewn, no irregularities or holes and was the right size for a 4 year old. I also ordered a tube of hair elastics for ponytails. 98 cents for 20 and the quality was better than what I buy in the stores for three times the price. I bought knock off Crocs for 4 dollars and they fit perfect and are comfortable. I use them for gardening. I was also impressed with a silicone mold I bought to make flowers for cake decorating. My biggest gripe is when they don't seem clear in what they are reviewing, case in point; there's a pretty snazzy looking duvet that only claims to be a duvet {Duvet: a washable protective cover for a comforter for those unfamiliar with the word} and several people complained that this *comforter* lacked the thickness and the fill they expected in one way or another. But the site in NO WAY tries to label it as a comforter and they misinterpreted it as what they wanted and not what it is. Despite this the same people still seemed to give it high marks despite it not quite living up to their misconceived expectations.

I bought very cheap headphones that go around the back of your head and sit in front of the ear so that you can hear other things going on around you,. I use them all the time. They are light weight, volume is easy to adjust, and they turn on and off easily. One of my favorite headsets. My duds were a $1.98 set of fake nails, and, actually, the most expensive thing that I bought, which is a dog bed that fits on the consul between the seats in my car. The nails were too small for me and not advertised as being for a child or tween, which they are perfect for, so not a total dud. As for the dog bed, it was for my 4 pound Chihuahua, and it seemed perfect for him as he’s very unhappy in his car seat on the passenger side. The leash to hold him in the car seat was made from a half inch wide ribbon. Thin ribbon that frays like the kind you tie a bow on a package with. This on a $20 item. Couldn’t believe it! As most of the stuff I purchased was about two dollars, if I didn’t like it I figured no great loss. The only way I will order from them again is if I am going to purchase something on Amazon that is likely to be on Temu as well, and it will save money, and still has free shipping, then I’ll order from them.

The "tablets" screen is of a technology type that simply needs to be refreshed all at once. That's just how it is... It's also kinda nice that such a primitive thing is ultimately packaged into a cheap, flimsy, plastic shell... it suits it well tbh. It should be a paper'esq thing, of which you just quickly use in a utilitarian way. As you'd observed, notes, whiteboard stand-in or alternative, etc. The cheapness matches its use case and novelty, which all adds up to basically a disposable, commodity level, dirt cheap, bargain bin, grab bag, yet useful and/or usable item. It's a win to me... it is what it should be.
The shoes (only other thing worth chiming in on imo)... basically Wallyworld kickers. You can get the same deals there, and on a semi wide variety of looks, of which are ultimately comprised of similar materials, feeling the same, with or w/o laces, similar weight (or lack), etc. And yeah... all around the $10 mark. . . When you just need a pair of decently comfy, maybe one time use even, whatever colored "shoes", they are often a good route to go. And most Walmarts are on your way to wherever you're heading when you happen to have the need for such a thing. I'm usually in steel toes, so when a thing like that just pops into existence, I have indeed just popped into a Walmart and got a "right now" shoe. Most of which then get used for around the house, in/outside, basement, local quick trips, etc. No need to give up your credit/debit info to Temo for such a thing, lol.

7:50 Regarding the glasses, you should also check if they have diopter. When i bug sunglasses, I always go to the store and have them checked. I do that because the one i used for some good years, was having a good diopter there and that's not good for healthy eyes.
For me it costs no money (but ofc I gave to the girls there smth for the... trouble, they were always nice and helpful). Maybe you an find a store where you can check them for free or for a small amount. Be careful using cheap or maybe even not cheap sunglasses. Even the delivery of these items within the USA rips off the post office and tax payers who have to subsidize the loss our postal service realizes with the delivery of each of these items shipped direct from China. It's call being selfish and uncaring.

10:48 a lot of these light gadgets when you turn them on they do an auto timer type of thing, they stay on for 6 or 8 hours then auto shut off, they then turn on 24 hours later from that initial turn on.
So basically if you turn it on at 6pm it will auto shut off at either midnight 2am depending on if it is 6 or 8 hours auto timer, then turn on again at 6pm the next night and repeat that cycle until you flip the in/off switch to off.
That is how my artificial candles work and my wall lights that I have outside

Like you said in the video, some of the stuff isnt the highest quality but the expectations should be lowered given the prices. I pretty much agreed with all your conclusions except for the tablet which I see as a firm deal, not on the fence. Its a stocking filler item at that pirce and I would have loved that as a child.

First off, thanks for your videos, they are entertaining. I recently watched one that reviewed microwave bacon cookers. Great video. I then, purchased the Makin bacon microwave cooker and used it tonight. It worked just as your video showed and both my wife and I were impressed on how little mess was made and how crispy the bacon turned out. Now to the bacon taste. Both of us thought the deep, rich fatty taste of bacon was not there. So, I cooked one piece the old way, in a pan, cooking in the fat. I then took that piece placed it on a paper towel and patted it dry. We then compared taste with this piece and a piece cooked using the makin bacon cooker and there was a noticeable taste difference. The taste were as I described above. There is no doubt, the bacon cooked using the makin bacon has to be healthier than cooking in its own fat. I will purchase a few different brands of bacon and preform this test again. Why dont you try this and see if your results are similar to mine.
    Thanks
    Jim Hammond
I do like your videos, keep up the good work.

I have done allot of TEMU... I've done mostly beads, jewelry making things, small storage containers to put it all in and cheap rings and survival knives and pocket knives. I've gotten some kid's over-the-chest zipper fanny bags and pendants. I also bought some in-water flat sand art decorations. I bought many of miniature cat earnings, and a matching ring. I bought a couple necklaces that had glass. I bought many different kinds of beads. I bought several miniature knives or axes that are 3 inches tall with wooden handles. I bought key chain clips and stretchy bracelet bead elastic and end caps for making beaded bracelets like clamps and clips and end U-holds and beading needles. I've bought a needle tong set, several small tea spoons, and 2 kinds of survival or camping fork and spoon, one is plastic with a knife that fits all together and one is a solid piece of steel with a fork n spoon on either end that has bottle opener n junk. I bought a play time miniature garden tool set, two intense burner holders....I bought animal bathroom toothbrush holders. I got double sided adhesive clear tape in squares. I bought many sizes of magnets. I got a portable charger to plug into USB or my phone for my Galaxy 5 watch. I got 2 kinds of no battery flashlights, one is a grip crank and one is a spin it like a fishing rod. I bought 2 kinds of rechargeable fire starters, one for cigarettes and one that's a 2-prong electric.
Lets start with the bad: One style of Jump Rings were made out of second rate aluminum so they weren't worth it, the other style was perfectly fine. Two rings didn't look as advertised, the majority of the rings were silver plated copper (lucky I like copper), however, 4 styles out of the over 25 rings I bought were stainless and the one is sterling so they don't tarnish. With rings, if it doesn't say what it's made of then assume it's copper. I even bought 3 fidget rings, 2 with flowers and bees. The jewel fell out of one bee. (I used my melted plastic to in bed another "jewel"). My best rings had glow in the dark on them. Now the cat earnings and matching ring. They are plated copper but I use them to accent another ring or decoration or something like that. I wear them still. One of the in water sand desk decorations is holding up perfectly while the other one is becoming discolored due to the glitter they put in it and it's slowly evaporating water. The glass square one is doing great where as the round one is not. The worst one so far has been the cigarette rechargeable lighter! The only way it would recharge is if I plugged it into my computer and then every time I did it would somehow disable my keyboard!!! I Don't Know Why... Don't Know How... and then I couldn't charge it again and I gave up on it.
Lets talk about the good: The good was all the beads. The plastic container sorters, the U-hooks, elastic string, beading needles... all that stuff except the one jump ring. The key chain clips also good. The insense burners were good, but the ant one needed bending and modified so it would work properly. Plus that one is made from copper and the other one from good quality aluminum (a 2 piece 2 color turtle). The animal toothbrush holders got modified to work for holding pends at my desk. I had magnets that fit in the holes on the back where the suction cups were meant to go. I used that double sided tape to hold them into the holes and it works really well! The tacked the magnets to my desk and they pull away if needed. I love them! The survival spoon n fork and tea spoons work really well and are cute and are steal or good quality. The charger for my watch works great and is compact and fits into my purse. But the thing I'm most impressed with was the larger survival knives and pocket knives. They came sharp and are great quality. I was very choosy and tried to get ones with full tang and wood handles and leather sheath, unless I wanted the plastic sheath to strap to my camping bag. Several of these were $10 or less and if I had bought them here would have cost over $50 easy. The miniature knives and axes aren't just cute and gimmick... they are sharp! They are cute too. The child size over the shoulder bag I use everyday after a few modifications for sturdiness and comfort for all day wear. I keep many of my smaller survival knives in it and my hand crank no battery flashlights. A mini bug out bag I'm always wearing. The Two-prong electric rechargeable lighter works perfectly!

I got a writing tablet like that as a gift and I use it all the time for my family grocery list. It stays on the fridge and everyone writes what they need on it. I do copy it onto paper when I go out shopping, so, it's not saving paper or anything. It's a little more fun than writing on paper, though.
