I cut our turf into 2x2 squares and take it to the laundromat to wash it every month. Use a amonia based cleaner like pinesol and laundry softner to remove smell.
@sarwaraharvindersing when my dogs pee, the urine is collected in a drawer beneath the potty patch. We use a hose, connected to the kitchen sink to clean it with hot water. Thank you for your question!
Hi, Thanks for this video. Im using a kind of Pet Loo for my dog and it is working well. However, Im very concerned with the smell that it has begun to emit. I have it only for a week now but the odor is pretty strong. I always flush his urine down with some warm water & have washed the synthetic grass and the base with water and detergent. Yet it smells. Can you please suggest any tips? Many thanks.
@fairlanegt1 That's a great question! The astro turf on my dog potty isn't fastened down, so I can simply hose it off. I also like to fill up watering cans with hot water and flush the entire system out. I hope this helps you! And thanks again for your question. :)

Cool, I use aspen chips in mine, and the dog used it every day :) I like the high sides, I may do that when I get a new pup next month.
AWESOME DOG POTTY!
you should use some turf that is meant for dog potty..perforated turf not plain old astro turf. No wonder it stinks.
Thank you!
why did you opt for plastic turf instead of real grass?
Omg getting that dog to use that potty patch? wow... Ray Charles could see that is not the real grass potty area. Lol
Supercali Fragilistic well she used it so 😉 Also, my current dog is blind and didn’t appreciate this joke.

Why don't you let your dog go on the real grass that you seem to have? Why are you confusing him?
Maybe it's a common area, and not actually the owners grass, like a condo.
I've been researching into potty training and found a great resource at Perfect potty path (check it out on google)
Use white vinegar to nuetralize the dog urine ammonia. Then use hydrogen peroxide and soap to finish off and rinse
Nice...
Let's see your dog potty if mine is so sloppy.
how do you clean the Astro Turf?
Can someone leave a comment? Bad video BUT great idea here!!!!!
It looks like your dog just wants to go on the real grass
Also this has been made before
