After reading Maw Broon's Afternoon Tea book I think she would call it High Tea, not Afternoon Tea, but as my mother would say, 'It all goes down the same way.' Dara & Ian. Yes it’s called Tiffin. Your pronunciation of Memsahib’s. isn’t quite right. Unfortunately its not phonetic. The sahib is more like sarb. A Memsahib was often referred to the English leader or man in charge and often sounded like “Memsarb”. In Bombay and other cities the locals have deliveries of lunch either hot home made or bought in, boxes or tins called Tiffin Boxes. A great video however. Hope you liked spicy food.
