An aquarium would be better
thats the only reason why i didn’t buy the game yet. without a place to nicely present my fish, i don’t wanna play😄
Still a fun game without but doesn't feel the same as hunter when you get your first diamond or rare and seeing it in the lodge
Really hope there's super super rare variations such as xanthism. Would love to see an orange largemouth bass for example.
This is a very underrated edition that will do well to add way more immersion. now just need an aquarium to store our favorites
Love these, really excited for when they add all 5 pacific salmon on one map(probably would be alaska, which I would love), that will be amazing to see all those major variations on one map. Still the scars on the Carp and Wels look absolutely amazing on spain!

@@ProXCK Totally agree, alaska, or anywhere on the west coast of North America, great lakes, the southeast, and south america sound amazing, especially if done right! I definitely think we need new maps in the new world honestly, I think 4 maps after japan is enough for the old world as for right now.
The best update by far.
I was fishing for green sunfish for quite a while and I think I found the pattern that defines the varieties which has a random multiplier of singularities such as scars, spots, marks, etc.
Since we don't have the possibility to record those varieties in the handbook I made some examples of how it could look like in my Discord post.
This is awesome, I already caught most of new ones and they are really stunning!

Yep, supposedly they've been working on a system to give proper sizes to all the species.

Golden Ridge is currently the only map that has variations for all fish, the new japan map will also have them all since the release. Certain species on other maps also have them, like pumpkinseeds, wels catfish, largemouth yellowfish, zander, common carp, mirror carp, and a couple more.

None of the changes look much different from the originals to me . That is because I am color blind . LOL I do see darker shades that make the fish look like a kid took a crayon to it though here and there . LOL I am good with the game staying as it was here but at least I can laugh at the crazy looking fish to me ! LOL Great video Sir once again and I thank you again for all the help in catching the diamonds I needed .
They definitely went a bit over the top with the stripes and patches on some species lol

There should be an achievement where you have to catch all variations for one species. Or will that'll be too hard.
Maybe for catching 2 that are the same since they said that was hard so a bit of a challenge but still possible
Would be good for catching certain variations that apparently are rarer than the rest, like the silver kokanee

I havent played the game for a few months and i was pleasantly surprised at the new fish additions to the first map and this update is like the cherry on top! I really look forward to getting unique diamonds now.
edit: and heres to hoping that the japan map may have a special fish like betta even though they arent japanese, im really wanting a tiny special species to go along with some of the monsters.

You can fish in Japan now. It's a glitch. If you have the Africa map one of the fast travel spots takes you to Japan. It's a certain one
God I wished I knew this before they patched it
@@Kxnzok_ it's not fixed yet. It's still broken and still can wrap to Japan through a fast travel spot in Africa. It's on the east side of the map I'll look up the exact one and post in a few minutes

Are the legacy colours still in game
Only some variants that look quite similar
Honestly i like the realistic original colors better
But cant go wrong with something new
Some variants are over the top yeah, overall I personally love them

The game gets better day by day but we need rodpod + sound with minimum 3 rods,so you can fish bottom,bobber and twitch or jig at the same time.
Rod holders will be out next week

Im a HUGE fan of all the new fish, except the cutthroat ans golden trout those black spots are just super unrealistic i also think the spawn rate for scars should be slightly lower for some species.
Definitely a few others aren't realistic
