Oh my goodness! I’m literally in tears of joy because of how beautiful your relationship is. Everything you spoke about is everything I would want in a relationship with someone. It’s gotten me so emotional but also given me so much hope that if it’s possible for you guys then definitely it’s possible for me too. I cannot wait for my turn, for now I clap for others.❤❤❤
The fact that you are here, and seeing it is possible to get the things you want is something I can relate to. I had 2 couples I used to look at and pray "God, if you can do it for her, you can do it for me because clearly what I want exists". And although it took time 😩😩😩 it still happened and Here it is. Your blessing is coming, and even if you feel like it is taking time, wait for it. Habakkuk 2:2-3. I promise you, your blessing is around the corner. ❤️
Awww man this is beautiful. Thank you for this beautiful conversation. 5yrs in marriage and I feel like a have picked up a lot of things from this conversation. Munonakidza guys!!! And please don't mind us black people, we don't have boundaries and shame it's gonna take centuries to unlearn this bad habit. You did well with this one 👏
All you said here is the reality of marriage and marital counseling is very important. 4 years in but im still learning. All i can say is in marriage be ready to evolve/ grow out of certain habits and spaces etc. People be asking when are you having a child, yooh wasimbisa dumbu iro asi waneimwe nhumbu 😢im like what apa i have cysts which with make you look bloated all the time and affects fertility especially trying for a second child. But some people 🙄 don't know a thing called boundaries
Marriage indeed is a school of love, where people never stop learning 🙌🏾 And honestly, I think our cultural background in Africa leads people to think they can just ask whatever intrusive questions they have and get away with it. At times? We need to step up and address some of these rude comments/questions.
Congratulations to you both! Just wanted to let you know, I’m in New York and watch your videos every Sunday. Your channel literally carries me through my homesickness and warms my heart when I’m missing Zimbabwe. There are real people behind every RUclips stat and number of views you get. We love your content. I think you’re so funny and charismatic! Major shoutout to your husband for pushing you to publish this one today. God bless you both.
🥹🥹🥹 Oh my! It is always so surreal when the people who watch the videos from different locations actually comment. You know, YT just gives a percentage to show where people are watching from, and at times its so easy to discount the numbers as small. But I have been learning and realising that having 10 people tune in, and say something is REALLY BIG. 10 people in a room is a big thing, and so should it be even on social media/entertainment platforms. Thank you for this beautiful reminder ❤️ ❤️🥹 I do not take the support for granted, ever. Thank you for cheering me on and supporting me! God bless you too 😘😘 Have a lovely week ahead! And, thank you for the anniversary wishes 🎉🥰
I was just scrolling on Zim wedding videos and I came across your first video about lobola ...I got to watch more af your videos ...damn I really appreciate you guys ...I have someone I'm separated from but we are working towards getting back together and the stuff you spoke about in this video really got me thinking of things I did wrong and how to fix them ...thank you honestly ...from the bottom of my heart may The Good Lord fully Bless your union.❤
Happy Anniversary 🥳😍 May God’s covering always be present in your union in all seasons. Thank you for sharing and being authentic. There’s no straight jacket to some life experiences. I truly adore how you two support, respect and consider each other. So many takeaways here!!
I also used to have the same feeling of shying away from expressing how I feel because I didn’t want to be that girl but now I definitely do speak up for myself and I’m much happier.
Because honestly, why? what for? Hubs always says 'You will lose friends of the opposite sex when you marry. So, if there's a friend you deeply care about, you might as well take the leap and date, and see where things go. Because either ways, you can't keep a person who is so close to your heart as 'just a friend' when you're married to someone else. That person will automatically take the place of your spouse, emotionally.' And I agree! The vulnerability to share what bothers you will come naturally when it's them you're talking to, but not your spouse. That is just dangerous.
I know right!!! I don't know why our generation (especially) just wants to hold onto exes and make it seem normal. I was guilty of this at one point. Long before Fari and I started dating, I had an ex I entertained a lot, and left the door open for anything to happen. When I finally realised I'd be upset about my future husband being in touch, or being this close to his ex, I just knew what had to be done. So i literally woke up and blocked him, and never looked back. So so glad I did that, and wished I had done it sooner. Leaving a door open for a ghost is so dangerous!
🎉❤ I thoroughly enjoyed this video, the candid talk. As a fellow 1 year in marriage fellow being you have no idea how many times I kept nodding my head to the facts 😅 and truth in this conversation. Am so happy for you guys ❤ to many more blessed years in the marriage Nyasha and Farai😊.
So glad it was relatable! I wasn't very keen on making the video because I felt it wouldn't do much...but the chiming in has been great and so glad I listened to Fari!😂 And so happy to know that we're not going through anything extraordinary 😹😹 Thank you so so much! ❤️🥰 May God continue to bless your marriage too!
This is so inspiring🥹. There are so many things I didn’t get to consider within my relationship especially things like marriage counseling, considering I’ll be married soon. This was an eye opening session and I loved it. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life with us ❤
Congratulations 💍🎉❤️ So so happy and excited for you!!!! Pre-marital counselling is necessary. I hope you find the perfect couple to journey with you 💕 And, thank you so much!
I really enjoyed the Vlog Nyasha. Everything you mentioned is true I hope people will learn to know their boundaries . Happy anniversary to you and your Hubby 🎉🎉
Right?? Just yesterday, we were going for those intros, and chilling in that bedroom waiting to hear that we can come out because the negotiations were concluded 😂😂😂 and suddenly its a whole year now??? Time does fly! Thank you so much My Friend ❤️
So glad that you picked something small from our experience. Boundaries really are important, for things to continue functioning well in our society. We just need to set boundaries, and also communicate them sometimes. Thanks for tuning in 💕
Absolutely love your videos. Love how you are always positive it is refreshing. The pink dress Thandi looks good on you. Congrats on your one-year anniversary soon❤❤

Yep, sibadala Kakhulu to be having male/female friends. I believe your partner should be that male friend 😅 cause yeah I just don’t see the need of a male friend especially when looking to be in a committed relationship

Losing people you thought would always be around as you reach some milestones does actually hurt, but sometimes its better done sooner than later really. Someone said 'the friendships you lose as you enter your vocation as a married person make space for you to deepen your friendship with your partner.' Hi Nyasha bumped on your channel yesterday and enjoying it. I have two questions. My boyfriend goes to Catholic and i go to charismatic do you think i will cope because i have never been to catholic and already seeing a lot of difference. Secondly does Catholic offer pre marital counselling or you look for professional.
Hi 💕 I think the adjusting would be a personal thing really. Some people find it easy to make the switch, others don’t. I’d suggest you actually take time to attend a couple of masses first and then see if it’s something you’d be comfortable and willing to commit to. Faith matters always Become make or break issues so you’d best settle on something you’re able to stick to. Don’t commit yourself to a long term relationship and just ignore the differences if you’re not comfortable and truly on board. Issues will arise later and you don’t want to feel like you changed yourself for someone, and they didn’t acknowledge that or go over and also beyond for you (having sacrificed your own self) And then, the Catholic Church has mandatory pre-marital counselling. Unless you attend a number of those sessions, a priest generally can’t marry you 2. Mainly because you’re not well prepared in the eyes of the church. You’ll tackle so many issues in the sessions and definitely find them extremely useful. We wouldn’t have made it through so many hurdles without the premarital counselling we received. So grateful to the couple that walked with us!
