The thing I noticed about the eye drops is that even if u use eye drops 3 times a day for say 60 days the Most reduction I would get would be 6 points of pressure…so my right eye had a pressure of 27 and with the drops it went down to 21..which for me is good..now the left eye is a different story…it had a pressure of 42..and after 2 months of drops 3 times a day , pressure went down to 36..but vision still ok, just a tiny bit blurry due to the high pressure…Doctor performed a trabeculectamy ( putting a stent in the eye), IOP immediately drops to 9 to 10, and here’s the kicker , the trabeculectamy caused to to go 80% blind and doc says “ oh, well these things happen”….now I am depressed…

Yes eye drop medications can only do so much. I am on 4 different 4 eye drop medications and a pill to maintain my eye pressure.

Loosing vision loss? Get your vision checked. Go to an ophthalmologist not an optometrist. Follow the instructions from the doctor. Take your prescribed medication. Get a second opinion when needed. Live a healthy lifestyle if possible. That helps prevent all illnesses.
