I build a metal pergula to hold 10 Canadian 380 watt solar panels for my solar power system, this gives me shade and keeps the panels off the ground, let me know what y’all think!
Great idea! I was thinking of placing panels on my flat garage, but I really like this pergola creation. I don't like solar panels on the house, but I understand it is necessary most of the time. Thanks for the video!
When I build mine I’m going to use Unistrut. Good project though! More landscape and shade. Win win.

Very good idea. Get some yard back, too. Glad to see a new video as I know Texas has had some weather! Glad you’re ok.
Cool idea. You just earned a new subscriber. 👍
Good project did you need permits just asking my city hall sucks.
@@dan32one44 nope i just did it
Did you keep track of how much the material cost? I would love to this in my driveway.
I’d say roughly 600 dollars
Australian here, why not put them on the roof of your house like we do?
@@YeahTheOzzy because when the roof needs any kind of work then they have to be removed, also wanted some extra shade!
@@Mikebuildss fair enough! how often do roofs need to be worked on over there? Almost never here.
