I break down Kendrick's interview with Harper's Bazaar published October 21st in which he talks about what his diss track "Not Like Us" means to him. #kendricklamar #drake
Bruhh let’s please do better..the battle is over…it’s been 7 months….and this is a woman’s magazine…you think he’s going to talk about Drake?…now? He’s going to focus on the US part now of “THEY NOT LIKE US” the song already explains about “THEY” Why did yall need him to explain that ? 🤷🏾♂️😂
@@tha_jet_king3537 the beef cant be over considering that its still making history. Kendrick is potentially bringing down the biggest pop/star of this generation and is the first rapper to have a solo performance at the halftime Super Bowl and brought Bloods and Crips together, a very rare sight, among some other smaller yet still mentionable things. This is the most mainstream beef in Hip Hop, let alone the industry. Just like how Tupac Vs Biggie is still getting talked about today, same will happen with this beef. People are waiting for a Kendrick album and Drake's potential comeback (considering he's done this before). And J. Cole dropped Port Antonio, sparking even more debates.
@@joshacd150 beef might not be over but the battle is…”no round twos” until such time that one of them makes the first move and it damn well won’t be Kendrick, he’s very calculated about his moves and he’s not going hold on to talking about that Canadian, he doesn’t have to. Let Drake call out the boogeyman again THEN we’ll hear from Kendrick
@@tha_jet_king3537No matter how much yall gaslight about The Heart Pt 6, it was absolutely not a white flag. He told him to PROVE IT. Months later and there is no daughter or embassy raid. All of this will come back to the surface. He can't run forever neither can yall explain away his bullshit forever.

@ “Drake is a fraud” well so is 98 % of rappers. “Drake exploits black culture” - so does 98% of all rappers. “Drake is a liar” - do we really believe these rappers are out here doing what they say in their raps? If they do, they would be in Jail. Drake is a Pedo - don’t say you don’t listen to this man because he’s “supposedly” a pedo and you have Tupac on your playlist, who went to jail for grape. Also, I need concrete evidence that this man was having sexual encounters with minors. I’m not sitting here trying to defend him, because I would point out the hypocrisy for literally anyone. I just hate selective outrage. People were waiting for this man to fail, especially his peers. Unless he did something really crazy that we don’t know about.
I liked how Kendrick used the title of the song. The title in of itself is quite vague. while the song itself is very direct. It allows him to speak on the title while not having to address the song. That's how I saw it atleast. I could be very wrong.
His answer was VERY CLEAR. For the last 15 years Kendrick hasn’t changed who he is. The answer was actually very in tune with what he represents.

I agree with the comment above. I think you don't understand Kendrick. @@NileRoss

what would i be lying about?
SZA's here cuz she's apart of TDE and Kendrick's close friend. She's the interviewer.

I totally disagree it has nothing to do with race. Its about pretending to be something you aren't. You idea is basic
i didn’t say race i said ethnicity
glad to see you still plugging away with content !
aw ty so much!! I see you doing your thing too! ill go show some love too!
This was a great analysis. #ADOS
thank you family 🙏🏾❤️
I think my biggest problem with this beef is that all the “reasons” that people all of a sudden hate Drake are extremely hypocritical. 🤷🏾♂️
can you give some examples?
@ “Drake is a fraud” well so is 98 % of rappers.
“Drake exploits black culture” - so does 98% of all rappers.
“Drake is a liar” - do we really believe these rappers are out here doing what they say in their raps? If they do, they would be in Jail.

Great stuff Nile!! A lot of things to unpack here! Definitely going to share this!

Don't forget Kendrick Lamar is a hotep, hence the talking in circles.
🤣🤣🤣 i totally forgot. that makes complete sense now
No he is not.He might be pro black but not a hotep. If he was a hotep, he wouldn't refer to his faith in God in some of his lyrics.
@@americanlady738 niggaz don’t know what a hotep is 😂😂🤦🏾♂️
didn’t he say he’s an Israelite? on his last album i think he did
@@NileRoss saying that in a bar doesn’t make him a hotep when he’s literally a Christian
