This is a nice model of an unusual crane using some ingenious building techniques. I especially like the cab elevation mechanism, independent from the telescopic boom that supports it. For such a compact model, there is a huge amount of functions. In my opinion, the superstructure slewing is a bit on the fast side and could be about half that speed, to reduce motion induced load swing.
This is such a great model there are so many functions and they all work flawlessly, also the aesthetics are really good and it really looks like the real crane, I like the technique you used to cover the back part up with the yellow and black slopes. Keep up the great work. Also could you please link the music?
Absolutely amazing build with so much detail! One of my favourite MOCs from you. Great job! And I was worried there wouldn't be a hamster included, but thankfully the Technic Guide book ad at the end had one :D
The jib stays on the boom base section unless it is folded out and attached to the boom head. And no the wire rope would not be looped over it, this crane can only have one part of line over the jib
Damn I‘m occasionally working on an outrigger mechanism like this and this solution is freaking genius. Looks amazing and there’s no cost in terms of strength like with pneumatics.
This is such an epic model! It's kinda hard for me to judge the size of Lego models unless they are physically in front of me. I keep having to remind myself that these are some of the largest wheels Lego makes.
This is fantastic work. Everything is well thought out, an incredible number of functions and also beautiful to look at. I think the model is just as great as the original. But it also had to be good for the attentive boss 😊
Love the real crane, but I feel this MOC is subpar compared to some of your other MOCs. Problems I see: - Most noticeably the boom is mounted far too high, the boom on the real crane does not stick above the superstructure. - Your crane has two main cylinders, the real one has only one. - Your tires stick out of the chassis cover too much. - As well as the roll bearing elements. - The superstructure is sagging. - Outriggers are sagging even more. - Left side superstructure side has the shape all wrong. - Carrier's skirt between the first and second axle should go all the way down, much lower than the skirt between the second and third axle. Didn't mean to be harsh, just pointing out some of the flaws, on my favorite Liebherr crane unit :)
Looks very good, but the functions seem to have reached their limit, sometimes it doesn't look that stable, which is quite unusual for you. The mirrors could also have been folded manually, I would have preferred to see all-wheel drive and steering including crab steering. I think the hook is great, maybe there will be assembly instructions for this part.
I know you propably don't have time but would you consider making a v3 of your book, with all the new electronic, new gears and so on it would be useful
Time isn't the problem, the publisher and the form are. I think the only sensible option to make this books even bigger and still affordable is to released it as ebook only.
Great job! Very inspiring work! The Lego RC bug has bitten me in full force. I've got a couple SBricks coming in the mail for Lego RC stuff. I'll probably use the BrickController app so I can mix and match with BuWizz and PU while using a physical controller.
That was a long road! When did you start building it? Crane models will just never get old. So much stuff that can be done with, even when excluding that unusual cabin configuration. What gear is the yellow worm gear in the main boom driving? Are those two 8t tan bevel gears? Have you ever considered building a bridge layer?
Awesome to see this sleek thing finally completed. I imagine the battery doesn't last too long? Do the headlights stay on with the model? Is the yellow worm gear different to the grey one in any way? This model contends for one of your best in my view! The amount of motors is staggering, I'm hoping you'll post the approximate x-ray view at some point. In hindsight, would you have preferred to go with a gearbox design with this many functions, or would that not work as well here?
The headlights stay on but the battery actually lasts longer than I expected. Yellow gear is the same as grey ones. No, a gearbox wouldn't work well, most importantly there is no room for it.
looks epic :) Did you test a hevier load then the 0.75 kg and this is the highest you would recomend ? Good to see Mufin walking around. He seems old, but happy :)

Amazing work! I remember when you first started making this model and it's so incredible to see it completed. Keep up the good work Sariel!

Thanks, all functions feature proportional speed control, so you can rotate the superstructure slower if you wish.
Absolutely awesome model, well worth the wait! Good progress on the StuG, too!
Many thanks!
This model is exceptional, it's so well built and detailed that you can barely tell it's built using Lego. Thank you for sharing it with us Sariel
Beyond its incredible engineering, the smooth 'tight nit' look is 'something to look at'.*** Bravo!*** What an achievement.

I’ve been waiting for LEGO TECHNIC to release such a robust crane model. I almost mistook this for one such! You’re an amazing creator!
holy, what a model. not only top tier technic features but also loving the snot work
Yay!! After years of patiently waiting it's finally here!
Amazing model, I love the outtrigger lowering and cabine tilting function!
Glad to see Muffin doing fine!
Another masterpiece of Lego art and engineering. Well done Sir, you are a marvel.
Absolutely amazing build with so much detail! One of my favourite MOCs from you. Great job! And I was worried there wouldn't be a hamster included, but thankfully the Technic Guide book ad at the end had one :D
So nice to see it finished!
Truly a remarkable feat of engineering, amazing!
every time i see one of your new awesome models i think "how the heck did he manage to put that much motors in that little space. you are a genius!
long time coming, well worth the wait. looks awesome sariel, congratulations on another project off the list
Excellent build as usual. Really enjoyed the finished model and video.
Absolutely astonishing! What an Lego engineering masterpiece
All those motors and wiring and you still managed to have the body and chassis clean... And so many functions packed into it. A work of genius :|
The jib stays on the boom base section unless it is folded out and attached to the boom head. And no the wire rope would not be looped over it, this crane can only have one part of line over the jib
Great work Sariel, so much crammed in and it looks great! Love the video.
Impressive yellow crane.
I also like the realistic lights.
Congratulations of finishing this project !
Świetny MOC, długo czekałem i się doczekałem. Jak zawszę świetna robota

once again a beautiful creation with many functions... awesome
Nowy rok, nowe budowle Sariela, oby jak najwięcej 😉
Absolutely some of your best work, well done mate!
I've waited so long for this MOC. It is truly amazing! Great job
Looking great.
Another excellent MOC! Well done.
This is fantastic work.

I think the model is just as great as the original.

Great model! I love the outrigger design, really next level stuff :)
Looks awesome! A 14-motor masterpiece!!!

Didn't mean to be harsh, just pointing out some of the flaws, on my favorite Liebherr crane unit :)
All totally valid. It was hard to put so many functions in without compromising the looks.
HOW did you fit 14 motors in a model of this size without any showing through Absolutely incredible
Making the mirrors fold manually wouldn't do anything for AWD or crab steering. The outriggers mechanism takes a LOT of space in the chassis.
That was really cool!
I know you propably don't have time but would you consider making a v3 of your book, with all the new electronic, new gears and so on it would be useful

Normaly the - JIB - stays on the main boom on the side.. But its a cool crane !
beautiful model!
Dobra robota sam bym takiego przygarnął.
Looks great. Glad this project is finally done after what, 4 years?
5
Good job on completing the moc 😃
fantastic model! always good to see muffin ♥️
literally been waiting for this video for years lol
Hope this become a set someday :)
Looks amazing!
Oh, my God!
My best friend would _love_ this!
Guess I gotta save up for his birthday...
Ha, ha!

Crane models will just never get old. So much stuff that can be done with, even when excluding that unusual cabin configuration.
What gear is the yellow worm gear in the main boom driving? Are those two 8t tan bevel gears?
Have you ever considered building a bridge layer?
I started back in 2017, yes these are two bevel 12t gears and yes, I'd like to build a bridgelayer.
Heck yeah looking siiiick
Which function was the most difficult design? Maybe The mecanism of outtriggers? It´s perfect, Excelent job mate 👏👏
Possibly the cabin boom.
What type of part is the extension jib made of? I'm talking about that X-shaped frame. I've never seen it before.

Great work!
Great work
This is so cool!
Awesome man!
Amazing creation!! It reminds me of the LEGO Technic 42082 rough terrain crane. Did that set inspired you?
Not at all. I've started building it before 42082 was released.
Absolutely amazing! Waiting for Liebherr to respond on this masterpiecie :D
Awesome to see this sleek thing finally completed. I imagine the battery doesn't last too long? Do the headlights stay on with the model? Is the yellow worm gear different to the grey one in any way?

@@searme is the yellow worm gear genuine part and where you get it?
Just wow!
looks epic :)
Did you test a hevier load then the 0.75 kg and this is the highest you would recomend ?
Good to see Mufin walking around. He seems old, but happy :)
No, I didn't test heavier loads. Muffin is almost 15 and she's a girl.
Top notch!
Top Job 👍👍
Lovely
that cabin looks like General Grievous head
I don't recognize the muzzle brake on the Stug.
It's a minifig lantern.
very nice
About 1 minute into this we see you controlling the model with an app on a phone. What app is that? I don't recognise it.
SBrick app.
Great!!!
Wow! W końcu! ;)
Hey, does anyone know what watch is Sariel wearing? Is it a metal case & bracelet G-Shock?
Galaxy Watch Active.
oehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh a very nice moc love it

Nie ma mowy, robiłbym tę instrukcję z rok a potem odkryłbyś że części są za drogie.
@@searme Dziekuje za odpowiedz,powodzenia.
No more progress any month
你好,睇到呢部我好鐘意好想買,但HK無。
It's not for sale anywhere. I built it myself.
*Sighs* It is done...
It doesn't look like the real one
This is more like meccano than lego...
supoib!
