Gao is an awesome dinosaur themed "Jet Coaster" at Mitsui Greenland in Japan! A "Jet Coaster" is a long, large mine-train like family coaster but usually features much larger hills than your typical mine train.

That ride actually seemed super fun! Because of the gentle slopes it allows you to gain a ton of speed😁

This roller coaster looks like it was made in Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.... I like the theming though
I went on this ride last year and it was so smooth that I felt like I was gliding through the air so I closed my eyes and it was thE BEST FEELING EVER

I've been here 3 times (Oct and Nov) in the past few years and the park is never crowded. The parking lot is maybe 10% full, and there are barely any wait times. You just line up and get on the ride. Summer and holidays are a little busier but this is not a well attended park.

I went on one in a city in Australia, I forgot the city name but it had the “dinosaur museum” which I got nearly all my dinosaur toys from.
This would be a max power ride at thrillville.

Hey i like how this roller coaster dosent have a huge drop thats the part i dont like about roller coasters but this looked more fun then intimidating

Gao is actually the Japanese word for “Roar” and it has hollow support beams which allow it to “roar”, similar to the Great Bear at Hersheypark

+Michelle Sherwood Parks in Japan are traditionally not crowded until July. We went mid-June and it was empty! Great time to visit the parks there!

I really love the way the track is so spread out, not everybody likes steep drops! And I love the huge ferris wheel in the background, too. But I don't care for the different colored track segments, looks a bit tacky.

This ride legit made me question the "Extreme" scale on RCDB
Many things have made me question rcdb
Like how maurer spike roller coasters are extreme, or how schwarzkopf mine trains are extreme or how an intamin fly rider is a floorless coaster (it's not), or how a double inverting stall is one inversion...and much more
Why is it that all Japanese coasters have agonizingly slow lifts? Love the brakes on the first drop! LOL. Must have borrowed that from Mantis at Cedar Point. ;)

That coaster is strange in every way. Are those tires actually slowing down the train? That transition at 1:47 is umm... creative. I will giver credit where it's due. It does sound really cool.
Wondering what you find insane about it? Doesn't have a major drop but looks like it might be fast.
