Im.from Asuncion..love my city. In the summer it gets reaally hot but there is air conditioning everywhere and people have intense social life once the sun starts to settle and just stays indoors at the hottest hours. In winter is the other way around
Should try bear burger, the food court of contenedores, mariscal shopping. The asadito from don caníbal, medialunas calentitas, you have lots of gym near, if you like basket, is the felix perez cardozo. On saturdays in the super6 you have Asado (good price for the quality) and also for breakfast in the morning
Really looking forward to your videos. Considering retiring to Argentina or Paraguay in a few years and everything seems to be pointing to Paraguay being superior except for the heat.
Yeah its nice here and cheaper than Argentina and you can pay by card pretty much everywhere which is very convenient. At this time of year its really hot but from around May to September it goes down to around 23-26 degrees celsius with a lower humidity. If you are looking for places to retire I would also look into Florianopolis in Brazil, it's amazing. I have one video on it on my channel but will be doing more when I go back there in a few months.
Nice video. Paseo de La Galeria is indeed a shopping mall. You never went inside to check it out. It is one of the biggest shopping malls there. Enjoy Asuncion. It has an active night life in and around shopping Mariscal and Carmelitas,
My dear friend, from September to March the weather is very hot and no one walks from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. just for pleasure. At other times, for example, in the mornings its better.. Welcome! Enjoy life.
Yeah I just use Airbnb, if you rent it out for 30 or more you get discounts, and that's for any Airbnb apartment, so actually it can be cheaper to book for 30 days than booking it for 20 days. You can just book it for 30 days and leave after 20 if you wanted.
The difference in prices between Argentina and Paraguay is due mostly to the taxes. In Paraguay you pay less taxes, specially taxes for importing products from other countries.
Try traditional foods like sopa paraguaya, chipa guasu, mbejú, vori vori and pastel mandi'o they’re great, and don't miss tereré, especially refreshing on warm days. check out them in places like "Tierra Colorada Gastro", "Bolsi", "Ña Eustaquia" and "Lo de Osvaldo".
it's obvious Asuncion not only gotta be cheaper than Buenos Aires, it should be for free, u r comparing "Europe" with one of the worst capitals in Latin America....
