You were amazing as Rost! Seriously the bond you were able to form with the player in such a short overall time of the game is amazing. His story arch could’ve been cheesy/cliche but your voice acting really sold their relationship and provided a warm foundation in a wild and mysterious game world.

Great video! Rost is such an interesting character. Sure there's some familiar aspects to his story but it all comes together in a way that doesn't feel too samey. Legit cried when he gave his life for her but it was all too fitting.

A couple thoughts came to mind when playing this game. One, I think odd Gratta was the brave that dragged Rost across the border. It would make a lot of sense honestly but maybe not due to her age, but a long time did pass so maybe. Also I sorta wish Alloy decided to use her prize as the victor at the proving to restore Rost as a member of the tribe. Sadly it wasn't to be, but what a genuinely wonderful character.
Sadly while the winner can ask anything one thing of the elders, they have no obligation to grant it so I doubt they would allow Rost back even if they wanted to. He was seen as soulless.

I love the detail that Aloy would never have been this headstrong or tough, would never end up being the hero she is without Rost. Her "sister" in forbidden west couldn't understand why Aloy was so different than her and Aloy mentions she had Rost.
I so wish they didnt't kill off Rost so their story could continue somehow in forbidden west because just watching your video had me crying and realize how much I miss Rost!

Such an amazing game. However, after playing the sequel I feel that they’ve lost the plot, so to speak. As a character, Aloy’s disdain for foolish men is becoming increasingly off-putting. Also, in general, emasculated men, a Ted Faro that quite literally becomes an off screen monster, and 2 Dimensional villains that you barely see in the game leaves me to believe that the DEI disease has infected what could have a phenomenal trilogy. One can only hope that they tone those down in the 3rd game. It would also go a long way to give Aloy more vulnerabilities making her more relatable. Anyway, I too hope that Rost is alive. The one rule in story telling is that unless you see them die on screen (or see the body) then never assume they’re completely dead.
HZD combat was awesome. I'm sorry, this might be an unpopular opinion, but the story was not good. It was boring and uninteresting. It also made no sense. The combat was fun, the game mechanics played well and Alloy was cool looking. The story was written by a middle school student. I didn't care about Rost or any of the characters. The narrative guided progression through the environment/world. That appeared to be its only purpose. It was not memorable. I hope they fix it. Sandbox games need to have good story to keep the player interested in playing.

Rost only appeared a short time and died early in the game. But the story and his character gets me. Watching your video makes me emotional and cry
