Valerian clearly wasn't expecting that worker rush. I'm laughing my ass off at the fact that Blizzard had the foresight to include such an incredulous reaction for him in such a scenario.
Hot Take Time: I think it makes a lot of sense for Kerrigan, in story, to do this. Her view is that Valerien's being recklessly stupid and severely underestimating the Zerg. Her demonstrating that by not only going with the weakest possible Zerg units, but ones explicitly designed not for combat, and still utterly trouncing his forces, sells the point far more than a swarm of zerglings ever could.
This is exactly what I thought the very first time I saw this scene. She does the whole thing specifically to prove a point. And the whole reason Kerrigan ever got infested is due to the previous reckless experimentation that led to the creation of psi-beacons broadcasting a more powerful copy of Kerrigan's psi profile. The whole New Gettysburg thing consisted of placing a huge advertisement "the psi-capable human you're looking for is here" and then abandoning her exactly where a huge swarm was expecting her to be. So she has long and important history with the stupidity of Valerian's father and would really want to show the son where this recklessness leads.
Bi$harp Valerian must be feeling like an idiot. I mean, being beat up by DRONES? With those defenses? He must be regretting getting defenses too weak to beat even DRONES.
I'm messaging 5 years late, woot woot. Fun fact, every mission of Starcraft 2 Heart of the Swarm on Brutal is possible with drones. I would know because I'm doing it right now. It's sad.

Valerian should be a coop commander with special sentries and robots from the mobius and maybe something can change from static defense and offense beside siegetank
99999999999999999% agree idk what his gamplay should be but it's a beyond a disgrace that he wasn't a character before nova Alarak Dehaka and stentman btw I'm not saying there bad characters I'm saying that it's ridiculous that blizzard is gonna make a bunch of way less important characters as commanders but not valarian SERIOUSLY?? And blizzard is also gonna alternate timeline characters (zeratul mengsk tychus) before valerian SERIOUSLY?? First of all are you sure that's a factory? the developers probably just reused the factory model as the builder for those mechs. that being said and more importantly it's for gamplay reasons it's the first level. so as a developer you shouldn't make the first level so hard your basically saying this level should be impossible even though it's the first mission
@@DeathDragon5000 I don't mind having the first level hard. There are many professional players who beat this game on brutal so why not make it harder? I don't care about new players anyways

Valerian specifically says "Kerrigan! Call off your... drones?", a line which doesn't occur in a "regular" playthrough, as most players would use Zerglings instead.
A friend's little brother was shittalking me that he would beat me in Sc2. So we had one of these observer games with a group of our friends and him. I played random and he played Terran. There is an easter egg at around 1:00. Valerian says "Drones? You are attacking with Drones?" I don't think the aim of the video is to try to impress with a drone victory.

Valerian should have invested in a single Firebat instead of 50 robots
You forgot the healer
A single Hellion.
A single marine would beat the damn sentry bots.
How about Hellbats as well? I mean come on, it's *Zerg* he's experimenting with! He should know better!
Can we talk about how pathetic these defenses are if Drones can get past them?

if you do not select the drone at the start for a while the adjutant translates what she says into Zerg
